My girls and I have been customers of Mary Catherine's Salon since its' inception 20 years ago. I love this salon, and would not trust anyone else to do my hair. Mary Catherine is a great hair dresser, and such a nice lady who genuinely cares about and gives back to our town. Laura does a great job, and knows how to give me what I want, even when I'm not sure what I need. I am so very pleased to recommend this salon. Hope to see you there.

Mary Catherine is the sweetess person- very experienced hair stylist..listens carefully to what you want & helps make a challenging haircut change-- hassle free.
The salon is immaculately clean, everyone is friendly.
I had THE most wonderful shampoo wash & massage of my scalp!!! They all pay attention to the little details--I had a wonderful experiece, highly recommend.

Great service, great haircut! I went in and I showed the haircut that I wanted, and I’m a swim instructor, so I’m in the water a lot, she had made a few suggestions and thankfully she did because turned out to be the haircut that I was looking for and needed! thank you. Love it!

I have been going to Mary Catherine's for several years and if you want someone who really cares about you and your hair, this is the place for you. The staff at the salon are very warm and inviting and they have all the up to date colours and styles to suit any age or gender. Make an appointment and you won't be disappointed!!

What was once Mary Catherine's is now Salon 21.
Was amazing then and it still is now. Laura, the new owner, was my hairdresser then and still is now. Knowledgeable in all aspects and an expert in her field. Does an all around amazing job. Highly recommend!!!!!!

The best hair, from the BEST staff. Mary Catherine's makes you look and feel your best. Despite moving to Nashville I still find myself waiting for my trips back home to get my hair done. No one does a better blonde then Mary Catherine, and no one is as warm and caring while doing it!

Mary Catherine is one of the most caring and loving person you will ever meet. This hair Salon is the only place I trust to go for my hair. My hair is very thick and very curly and they are the only people who know how to maintain it and make me feel confident about having curly hair.

This is a small town shop with a steady local senior citizen following. Surprisingly, they do charge big city prices, at least to newcomers, for what I consider to be below average work. I gave Mary Catherine a couple of opportunities to get my highlights right but what I got was 3 shades of colour (ultra blonde, blond and copper from the bottom up, which she acknowledged was bad but didn't offer to make right) given that every 5 minutes or so she would stop to take a phone call or greet one of her many elderly friends coming in the front door to visit. Mary Catherine frequently interrupted my appointments to take leisurely calls seemingly and unbelievably oblivious to me, the paying customer stewing in her chair. Her negligence resulted in my hair being overly processed on the ends (white-blonde) and underprocessed at the roots (brassy orange-red). Shockingly, after two full highlight sets in which she failed to correct the colour, she recommend yet a third set! I ended up with a section of hair at the back of my head that burned off as my new hairdresser showed me. Stay clear of this place because they are extremely biased in favour of their old retired customers who come in frequently enough to keep them in business. They are not interested in new clientele; rather, they are happy to engage in and further the local gossip mill. I felt like I was back in High School and feeling completely out of place.
