I'm from out of town. This place was recommended to me form the guys at work. I can see why. Excellent customer service. Fit me in with no appointment. Fixed everything wrong on my car. Pick me up and gave me a drive back. Couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Well, I don't usually trust many garages or mechanics and Max's AutoPro was no exception. Put my vehicle in a few weeks ago to get work done, parts came in and we scheduled a date for shortly after parts arriving. I call this morning to see if I can pick it up but my vehicle was never on the schedule to begin with.

To make matters worse, I had a job position lined up based off of getting my vehicle back this morning to start in 2 days and now that position is no longer available as they can no longer wait. So I lost a job due to their inability to schedule.

It's highly unprofessional on their part. I've sent a message directly to NAPA as well as I don't believe they would like to hear about a business under their name doing this to customers. It's bad for reputation. I'm sure they'll still require me to pay full price for a service performed after the agreed upon date.

UPDATE: Van work was done and haven't had issues as of yet. Because they got it done the day after and the repairs were done well, I changed the rating from 1 to 3 stars.

Recently had my truck in to get brakes checked and was informed that brakes still good and a rock was removed from rotor,which was the scraping noise I heard.This is a family started business that I first dealt with in the 1990's and I can see why they are busy.If you are looking for experienced and honest mechanics and a knowledgeable receptionist who keeps the customer informed ,then this is the place.Highly recommend.

Excellent service!! Friendly receptionist and informative and knowledgeable mechanic. I had my car in because some plastic was loose in underneath and the mechnic took it upon himself to point out an issue which will still be covered under the powertrain warranty and suggested I contact the dealership to get it replaced. This really spoke volumes about the integrity of the mechanic. Highly recommend. I will certainly be a returning customer. 10/10!

I have to write a review, as a CFA who has lived in Newfoundland for 5 years: Max's Auto Repair is THE BEST. They were incredibly helpful and responsive to an issue that my car had two months after it was inspected by them, making sure to address the problem quickly and at a discounted rate. They were kind, easy to approach, and friendly.

I cannot say enough good things about them, and for all the other CFAs living in Newfoundland, just know Max's is a business you can trust, delivering quality workmanship with a kind and welcoming attitude. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a car inspected, or their car repaired. They are good, honest, people.
