Article acheté il m'a coûté plus de 700$ plus déplacement à la fin il ne marche pas.
Ça ne vaut pas le déplacement.
Il n'y pas mieux que "ebay ".

They couldn't refund my money even though I offered to pay a fee to return it as I can not use the item I bought. They also suspend your account if you complain on this review. Thought this was where we can put honest reviews without your account getting suspended...I was in stock when I tried logging in. My learning experience with this site is that you just have to be very careful in what you buy and look at the product carefully. I have a good feeling that they put in bids to jack up the amount for you to bet higher.

I am writing to formally raise a serious issue with your platform regarding identity verification and credit card processing errors that have resulted in four separate $1,000 authorizations on my credit card — totaling $4,000 held — without proper confirmation or communication from your system.

When prompted to verify my identity by entering my credit card information, your system failed to provide any confirmation or status update. Each time I entered my credit card, the screen would go blank, leading me to believe the submission had failed. At no point was I advised that an authorization had been successfully processed.

As a result of this flawed process, I submitted my card information multiple times. Only later did I discover that four separate $1,000 authorizations had been placed on my card. I was never informed by your system or your staff that this would happen. I was told one $1,000 hold might occur, which I accepted, but not four. I immediately reached out for assistance, only to be met with unhelpful responses and the eventual closure of my account after I expressed my concern — admittedly with frustration, but understandably so given the situation and the absence of phone support.

I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and have spent thousands of dollars on your platform. This experience has been not only financially distressing but deeply disappointing given the complete lack of transparency, accountability, and human support.

Had a great experience here. Auction was seamless, won the items I wanted, cashiers at checkout were well informed and explained the rules for collecting items, warehouse staff provided space to examine the item and even helped lift into our vehicle. I am a pleased customer and would return.

Unpleasant First No-Show Experience After spending thousands — Not Worth the Hassle

This was my first no-show experience, and it’s left a bad impression. The pickup window is extremely limited — only Wednesday to Friday, between 3 PM and 6 PM — which makes it very difficult for working people to accommodate.

I’ve spent thousands of dollars here over time, so this treatment is unacceptable. I authorized someone to pick up my item via email (which went unanswered), and they were turned away despite presenting my credit card, in my name. This individual had nothing to do with my account, yet they used his name to deny the pickup. That felt discriminatory and unprofessional.

As a working single mother, I do my best to meet deadlines. I didn’t intentionally miss my pickup — life happens. But the company’s rigid policies feel more like control tactics than customer service. There’s nothing exclusive about being penalized so harshly.

The consequences they impose — a $48.20 restocking fee and $100 reactivation fee — are steep and discouraging, especially for loyal customers. A good business would care about their reputation and respond to customer feedback. This one doesn’t. They ignore both positive and negative reviews, signaling that they simply don’t care.

On top of everything, you’re charged a 13% for provincial taxes plus a 20% buyer’s premium — which goes straight into their pocket. They claim to “inspect” items, but I’ve received defective “new” products before, which makes me question their integrity.

You’re supposed to feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Instead, I’ve felt dismissed and disrespected. Out of principle, I’d rather pay full price or buy used elsewhere than return here. I’m choosing to keep my dignity and pride — this business clearly doesn’t value mine.

Before shopping here, know this:
• The listed price is misleading — always check MSRP on Google before bidding.
• You’ll be charged 13% tax plus a 20% buyer’s premium.
• You must adjust your schedule to fit their narrow pickup window (Wed–Fri, 3–6 PM).
• This place caters to those with money to burn — and little regard for customer care.

UPDATE: On or about July 14th, they made another attempt at charging my credit card $167. I sent them an email to cease immediately. Of course, they did not respond.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They’re rude, unreasonable, and only care about charging customers as much as possible without offering any real support or fairness in return.

After dealing with multiple issues, instead of resolving anything or even communicating professionally, they sent me this message out of nowhere:

“In light of recent events, we have decided to terminate your membership with us. Please do not open any additional accounts as they will be closed. Please do not visit our premises at 200 Bartor Road, North York, ON M9M 2W6. You will be asked to leave.”

No explanation, no discussion — just a cold and aggressive message telling me I’m banned. Completely unacceptable. They act like they’re doing you a favor by letting you bid, but in reality, they just want your money and don’t care how they treat you after.

The staff is disrespectful, and they don’t respond to concerns properly. They’ll happily charge you fees, but if you have a problem or question, good luck getting help. The whole operation feels like a cash grab with zero customer appreciation.

Save your time and money. There are plenty of other auction houses that actually value their customers and treat people with basic respect. Maxx Auction is not one of them.
