Aug2024: This is an East European market and deli which smokes its own meat and offers prepared, home made meals including: cabbage rolls, goulash, cheese/meat filled bureks, sandwiches and more.

I particularly like the goulash with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut on the side.

There's often an area near the cash with chocolates and candies on sale. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Mercator Euro Mini Mart is a GEM we found a few weeks ago while looking for authentic Serbian / European food in North York. They have a fantastic selection of food & goods (ready to-go prepared foods, meat & cheese selections, dry shelf goods (jams, lentils, spices, canned foods), freshly made freezer foods (burek, pita, chevapi, dumplings), desserts, church candles... EVERYTHING!!! This year we decided to have them cater food for our religious day (Slava) during Lent (posna Sarma - Lenten cabbage rolls; posna paprike - Lenten stuffed peppers, and made kolache (Slava bread). Tanja was incredible to deal with, so easy-going and everything was prepared as ordered and tasted delicious!! We had so many compliments. Mnogo hvala!! 🙏

Good selection of European dry sausages (Hungarian, Serbian, etc.) as well as some favorite Hungarian condiments (e.g., Pirosarany, Majonézes torma). Schweppes Bitter Lemon (almost impossible to get in North America), but they don't always have it.

The best Serbian/Balkan store in North York and Scarborough area. I came here craving cevapi but unwilling to drive to Mississauga to the more well known Balkan stores.

The cevapi is just as good, and they’ve been the only store I’ve seen so far that serves red onions instead of white, which I find to be much tastier.

Their lepinje is also delicious, and they sell the most popular brands of various different foods like pickled peppers, ajvar, and kajmak.

Nice tiny market that has limited selections of European groceries and foods. They also have a kitchen with ready to eat meals. The staff is friendly.

Highly recommend. Excellent lunch special love the lamb and beef mix. Also dried meat sausages deli and fresh bread. Must try if you haven’t already.

Their soups are unbelievably good! The staff is always friendly and accommodating... I always go to them first for groceries
