This is a hidden Chinese cuisine treasure in the little town! To be honest, we were a bit sceptical by looking at its outside - Not catchy at all. However, the noodles we ordered were amazing! The noodles were not soggy (Staff told us later on they made their own food from the ingredients they buy). The beef was awesome! Meaty and juicy. Properly marinated. We were amazed to find such good Chinese food in Nanton!

Owners recently renovated their restaurant, clean with lots of seating. The serving portions are good for three people, you won't leave hungry. The food was very good.

We are a 1st time visitor in the town area and we crave for the chinese food, so we decided to try it for a to-go lunch. I initially sensed that the owner was in a hurry to take my order, I felt a bit pressure about it and didn't get any good suggestion but you have to ask. And after I placed my order, she didn't offer the place to sit or to wait inside, she immediately asked me to come back after 10 minutes, so we waited in our vehicle at the nearby parking lot on that hot weather outside. I believed that we were the 1st customers coz they opened at 12nn, and no diners yet. And when I get the food and bring it back to the hotel, there is NO CHOPSTICKS or DISPOSABLE CUTLERIES, PAPER NAPKINS, and FORTUNE COOKIES in the bag! Unusual chinese behavior that wanted to save from their miscellaneous expenses, or maybe because I didn't place some tips on the bill. (A good review is better than a tip, remember that! In my own experience I usually handed back a tip like $5 or $20 from my guests and just asked them to keep it and give me a good review instead.) Anyway, we were so disappointed about it that we used our bare hands to eat, imagine how inconvenient is that!
Their "house special" fried rice that we ordered only has 2 big shrimps. The taste is bland and unseasoned, the food didn't satisfy our food appetite. I added a steamed pot stickers to the order, and you can tell that they put it directly inside the styro pack right after they cook it. Without placing any liner to it like baking sheet, etc. and so it ended up the steamed pot stickers were stucked in the styrofoam, and when you forcefully pull it, you will see the melted styro stucked in the dumplings! And your food is now having a toxic and harmful chemical contaminants on it, and you cannot it eat anymore! Seems like the dumplings are not homemade anyway, we were unfortunate with our lunch experience. The bottled water is expensive, I suggest you guys just buy it in the PC Fresh Mart grocery located on the other block. This will be our 1st and last try! We should come to the vietnamese restaurant instead. Do not waste your time and money on this place, not recommended!

I’ve been a few time since the new owners took over with different groups of friends and the food has been absolutely amazing each time. The ginger beef has just enough heat, the chow mein and other vegetable dishes are loaded with lots of different vegetables and not overcooked. Well all be definitely going more often.

I was shocked to see that this place only has a rating of 3.9 stars. I typically don't like Chinese Restaurants and found that this place is really great! I hope we can all support the effort they are putting into this place and the food they make. Really enjoy this place, and so has everyone I've taken to eat here. Great job, guys.

The owners are very friendly and you get a LOT of food for your money- so the value is great. HOWEVER, the food is pretty bland and has no taste. I hope they season their food more. If they did, it would be a 4 or 5 star

Very prompt service. The plates were huge, with lots to take home. They have a good variety on their menu, lots of options. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend 👌
