Discovered this place by chance and have been coming back once a week. Their fusion pasta has a perfect blend of asian flavours with really well-cooked pasta. They also have a range of fusion mac & cheese that sound very good too! Portions are generous and the quality of their food is just as good if not better than the fancy restaurants where you sit in. Don’t let their casual takeout style store fool you!

We tried the sake rose rigatoni, bo kho bolognese rigatoni, and the garlic yuzu shrimp fettuccini. Everything was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was absolutely heavenly!! The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the flavours of the sauce are so complex and well thought out. They give you high quality shredded parmesan cheese and a lemon slice to go with your pasta. I thought that the cheese went better with the rose and the bolognese while the lemon went well with the shrimp fettuccini.

Out of the three that I’ve tried, I really liked all of them but if I had to choose one, I would recommend the garlic shrimp yuzu fettucine. The creamy sauce wasn’t too thick or heavy and the yuzu flavour balanced out the creaminess perfectly.

They have a happy hour special deals from 2-5pm Mondays to Fridays! Seating is limited, only two tables and the store is quite tiny but bright and cute. Service is great as well. Parking can be difficult to find at peak times.

Tried once is enough for me. Don’t lexpect too much than you will be more happy about the foods.

Interesting how this place became a pasta place instead of mainly a gelato shop. Wish you could still get scoops of ice cream instead of just pints now. The butter gochujang tasted good with the mushroom medley and bacon bits in there. The gochujang balanced the creaminess very well. The shrimp pasta supposedly was supposed to have yuzu flavour but I detected none at all. There is very limited high top searing in there. Everything was just alright, not my first pick to eat but not bad.

The butter gochuchang is delicious and definitely the must-try pasta item on the menu! The sake rose was a close second, while the bolognese was okay (it tasted just fine, but isn't as unique as the others).

We've had kekou gelato over the years, so when we heard about the creation of Moon Pasta (which also serves the gelato), we were interested to try.

The space is small, so it is mainly meant for takeout, and it takes about 15 minutes, which isn't bad at all, but best to call ahead if you're in a hurry.

I stopped by here for dinner takeout after visiting KoiClaw for a Yelp Elite event.

Very convenient for me as I had bookmarked this place ever since I heard that Kekou Gelato had converted their spaces and added fusion pasta to their menus!

Walking in to this location, I immediately noticed that they don't keep the gelatos in the front anymore and instead it's a bar counter with the POS system on the side.

The other thing I noticed is that all pastas were under $20, which is amazing (especially in this economic climate). A lot of restos lazily slap a $20-25 price tag on pasta dishes when the portion size and quality are severely lacking so seeing pasta for $15 was very welcome and refreshing.

How was the flavour? It was great! I ordered the butter gochujang pasta because I was craving some heat (and some meat) and it delivered on both fronts. The sauce clung to the noodles well and it wasn't overly spicy. Very well balanced. I had some skepticism because Kekou was known for having great gelatos so I didn't know if selling pasta was gonna be a flop but I will definitely return off the back of the order I just tasted to try a different pasta.

Kekou Gelato turned into a pretty tasty pasta place. Nice for a quick bite. Pasta was nice. Ice cream pints are still available.

I went because of all the hype and the reviews. It was super busy. The staff were friendly enough to allow me to sample multiple flavours, as most of them were foreign to me and it took me a bit to find one that i liked. I went with almond tofu in the end. I thought it was ok, but not anything that i would rave home about. Definitely a unique ice cream spot.

This is a brand new Viet ice cream shop with intense flavours and excellent service. My husband and I ordered the Viet Coffee and black sesame ice creams. We had the option of getting sugar or waffle cones. We also ordered three pints of ice cream. The staff were kind enough to put it in a to-go cool pack. I thought the prices were reasonable as they ranged from $4.90 for a cup to $13 for a pint or $40 (tax inclusive) for three pints.

We were shocked at how strong and flavourful the ice creams were. They offer limited seating. I love that they have metal tasting spoons, which is better for the environment. We also got excellent service from Maggie and Joshyll. I recommend visiting and will definitely be back!
