We recently visited the Morinville Leisure Centre on February 10, 2025, and were treated poorly by Customer Service representative Danny. Although we visit the Leisure Centre frequently, four to five times a week, and have had positive experiences with other staff members, Danny's behavior was not satisfactory. The way she communicated with us was not acceptable, and when we expressed our concerns, she stated that she was simply performing her job duties. We understand her job responsibilities but emphasized the importance of her communication approach. If Danny is not comfortable interacting with the public, it may be beneficial for her to consider alternative employment opportunities. As a Customer Service representative, it is crucial to possess qualities such as empathy, patience, friendliness, attentiveness, and a caring attitude. Unfortunately, Danny did not demonstrate these essential qualities. We hope she will refrain from bringing personal issues to work in the future.

Excellent facilities. Just an observation and I would like you to take it into account. In many cases and spoke specifically of the weight area. You can see many children under the age of 12 and also teenagers without adult supervision. Sometimes you can’t train because they only play with the teams and everything is busy. And many coaches go through that and don’t take action on the matter. Apart from that, it is an excellent place to train when it is regulated.

My son and I got memberships together, went to start using the weight room and then got kicked out of weight room for my son being under the age requirement. His age was not inquired about when we purchased the memberships which should be regular policy, no? Front desk staff could have handled this better and the security guy on shift could work on being less aggressive to minors when their parent is right there with them. He could've asked where my son's parent was, spoke to me, informed me of the age restrictions and asked us to leave nicely. Instead he approached my son in an intimidating manner and made him feel like HE had done something wrong. Needless to say, I was reimbursed for both memberships without any apologies.

Beautiful facility! I came here once with my brother and to play basketball, The court was in pristine condition. It has a gym on the second level and a hockey arena. This is exactly what Morinville needed for so many years!!

Updating- thank you for updating your hours of operation to reflect your seasonal hours. Also kudos to front desk staff, didn't catch his name but he was great!
This is the second time we've arrived at the facility to find it CLOSED, while the website says open. I understand it's cold but perhaps the management could update the hours on the website. Drove into town for nothing. It's cold, but life didn't stop.
