They update you often on what is going on, they offer rental vehicles if it is an all day job and they are accurate on diagnosing what is wrong with your vehicle. Long review. I have taken both of my families vehicles here for 4 years and typically received good and friendly service. Until recently we had no complaints about the basic services we received.

Recently we had a noise on our truck that we wanted to get diagnosed and we even described everything about the noice and when it did and didn’t happen. Vehicle was dropped off and my wife went with the technician to point out when the noise would happen, technician acknowledged the noise.

They diagnosed it as one of the pulley bearings. I spoke with them and said, it doesn’t seem like that as the noise doesn’t happen or change when the idle changes but I’m not a mechanic so I trust your diagnosis. I said it sounds like a weird vibration, possibly a heat shield.

They changed the bearing, and my issue is that it did not fix the problem. They miss diagnosed and it was over $500 we paid, we understand miss diagnosis happen but my wife picked up the truck and they didn’t even mention it didn’t fix the problem, clearly the tech didn’t even take it for a drive after.

As soon as the truck was driven down the road the noise was still there.

I called to ask for some sort of partial refund or compensation with them replying to bring it back in for a reassessment. We brought the truck back in and then they determined it was the high pressure fuel pump, there was a TSB in the US for it on some models/vins but the TSB stated an entirely different sound then what ours was making. Quote was $1200 to fix it. They offered to give a slight discount if we replaced the high pressure fuel pump.

I had to follow up twice with no call back or work on their end to try and compensate us for the bill we paid that was over $500 and their mistake. Again we have taken both vehicles we own there for over 4 years and they didn’t care to make it right which is very disappointing.

I scheduled a diagnostic appointment with Honda in Ottawa and they determined it was a crack in a heat shield creating a vibration and fixed it, noise is gone.

Vehicles will never be going back and will suggest to all we know to avoid them for anything besides an oil change and how they apparently don’t care about loyal customers and fixing their mistakes.
