We had hoped to pick up some fruit at a nearby fruit market, but all we had seen at that fruit market was an array of vegetables. So we were delighted to go to a market with actual fruit, as well as a whole lot of other Vancouver-made products.

Thanks for the nourishment! 🍎

Love this store! Everyone is super helpful the produce manager (Noreen) is so amazing she goes above and beyond to help you find what your looking for thank you for helping me find my zoodles!
Also I really like that they support the local spca and foodbank if
You bring your own bags that is a really nice way to give back and every little bit helps!
They also have a great selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options!

I hope maybe they can look into bringing in products from the good butcher in Victoria!

Highly recommend this small healthy option grocery store!

This is a great place to shop for organic and natural products. Sometimes, this store has more options for natural products than other grocery stores in West Kelowna. However, some products can be found at the superstore for $1-$5 less. This is typically a more expensive store because it is boutique and small. If you are looking to save money, this is not the place. But if you want organic food and are willing to pay whatever price, then it's the place for you.

Their grocery selection is excellent, but I think they could level up on is their customer service. One of the reasons I shop there is because it is smaller than the bigger stores like Walmart and Superstore. With its type of grocery store, you would hope their customer service is better than anywhere else. It should be one of their differentiators as they have to compete with the larger stores. I have been going there about 1-4 times a week for the last three years, and they still don't know my name. Even though I see the same staff all of the time, they act like I am a new customer every time. However, they are always friendly and kind, which I appreciate. I worked at an organic grocery store and knew all my repeat customers. I think that is one of the reasons why people wanted to shop there because we knew our regulars and didn't treat them like brand new customers every time. I guess I would expect that out of this type of store due to the size and type, but you might disagree. I do think this is a missed opportunity on their part to make connections and build loyal customers.

I also had something odd happen there that surprised me. I went to purchase a product I couldn't find anywhere in West Kelowna. Unfortunately, they were all out in the fridge. I walked around the store to find someone to help me, but there wasn't anyone, so I had to go to the cash. I brought an item with me to purchase, and I wanted to ask the cashier to help me with this product. The cashier said they would call the grocery to help. Normally, the cashier would wait until the grocery comes and answers the questions before finishing the order. There were two people behind me, but instead of waiting for 30 seconds, they suspended my order and made me wait awkwardly until the next customer went through with their groceries. I'm a patient person, so I didn't mind that they wanted to help the other person, but it just didn't make sense given the situation. Then, when the grocery person came, the cashier didn't even say anything to him and kept doing the other person's order, so we were both standing there awkwardly. I think he realized that I needed help, and I realized that he was the grocery person because of the branded toque, we acknowledged each other, and he asked me what I needed help with. I asked for the item, but they didn't have it, which was okay. So then I am standing there waiting to pay for my one item. It would have taken all of 30-45 seconds to do that whole thing, and I could have paid and left. I am sure the people behind me would have been okay with it. Instead, I just left the item and the store as I felt weird about the whole thing. Working in two grocery stores that was different from how I would have handled it, and it made me feel like I wasn't important and that they didn't care to help. I would have made sure that the customer was taken care of first since they were in line first, there was no one on the floor to ask (which I mentioned), and the request was going to be quick. That was an opportunity to build customer trust and loyalty.

It's not a big enough issue for me to never go there again, but it was a bit frustrating. I have always loved this store, but I might think twice now about going to a different store since we have so many other options. Whether or not they care about that, I really don't know!

Overall, the store is worth visiting with all their food options. You will find many great organic, homemade, natural and organic food products that you can't find in other stores. And hopefully, you will receive excellent customer service!

My rating is based on cost and customer service. Firstly its very expensive compared to the organic section in Superstore where I shop a lot. With the price of groceries these days that’s quite important. I can find some of the same products there at Superstore that are way cheaper. Secondly I hoped to come to Nature’s Fare for true organic produce; i.e. not from Mexico which unfortunately Superstore sells. But so does Nature’s Fare. Anybody who knows about Mexico and its water should laugh at such a label and why I refuse to buy it. But after all that the other issue is their customer service. I find the staff at the tills rude. And this is on repeat visits so agree with another reviewer I read with same concerns. They are not warm and personable for a small
store. These ladies need customer service training. Last visit had an issue with a loaf of bread I wanted to replace and the exchange with the lady was unpleasant to say the least. You are asked to pay almost $8 for a loaf of bread that expires in 1-2 days. Hassle a customer over a loaf of bread. So no thanks will stick to Superstore. Their staff are more pleasant to deal with and don’t give you the I’m annoyed with you attitude. Small stores need to build relations with their customers to increase patronage. Its back to Superstore for me.

Check expiry dates before you buy. I had to return an expired salad dressing and the lady at the till was very rude to me for no reason. It’s their fault they are selling expired products, don’t give me attitude! The staff that work here need some serious customer service training. Also it’s overpriced and the quality is just not there. Fail.

Good selection. Produce is fresh. The staff are friendly. The location is good for getting on and off of the highway. I understand that this is a premium place to shop but even then the prices feel a tad high.
