This is a beautiful campground and definitely the nicest in the Mackenzie Delta. It's clean and well run, there's lots of space between campsites, and the manager is friendly and helpful. The washroom has electricity, running water, and showers. As of 2023, the camping fee was $22.50/night and firewood was available for $20. It's about a 10 minute drive to Fort McPherson, but be aware that businesses close fairly early, especially on the weekends. This campsite is only open during the summer months.

Sites are well spaced, there were flush toilets and clean bathrooms. Can't ask for more. Also a warm greeting by the site host.

Great park with nice shower facilities and an awesome log structure with a log burning stove and plenty room to hang out and chill during a big summer storm. There is a generator that kicks on to power the showers, but it doesn’t run all day and none at night. Totally manageable. BRING BUG SPRAY. And not that organic natural homeopathic mess. DEET. These mosquitoes and black flies mean business.

Heated, CLEAN bathrooms with hot showers. Large sites that are far apart from each other. Mosquitoes were bad, but, hardly the campground's fault. Definitely the best place to camp in the area.

This is a nice little campground and is a good place to stop on the way through NWT. Another reviewer said the generators for the showers and bathrooms run all hours, but the generators only run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are not loud at all. The generator is muffled and enclosed. The staff are gentlemen from the surrounding First Nations community and are very friendly and fun to talk to. This location is quite near the Peel River and is low elevation and can be quite buggy in June and July, but that is the Arctic Circle for you.
