I am beyond frustrated with my experience at Nova and Co in Langley. I drove 45 minutes one-way with a carefully curated selection of high-end dresses (all Jessakae pieces - brand new with tags) that perfectly match their store’s aesthetic. I was excited to shop and possibly consign — but what I encountered was completely unacceptable.

First, finding the store was a nightmare. There is no sidewalk signage, no directional signage, and the storefront sign is far too small to be visible from across the street — especially given the construction in the area, which should be all the more reason for them to make navigation easier. A simple A-frame on the sidewalk or clear posted directions would help immensely, but they’ve done absolutely nothing to assist new customers in locating them.

When I couldn't find the store, I tried calling multiple times over a 45-minute period — no answer. I assumed they might be busy and decided to keep trying as I searched for the entrance.

When I finally found the store — they were closed. Despite all their posted hours (on their door, on Instagram, on Google Maps, and on their website) stating they were open Tuesdays from 11am–5pm, the doors were locked and lights off. Not a soul in sight (despite knocking). There was no note, no explanation, and no update anywhere. I checked their Instagram, which still had a “Come by today!” story posted just hours before — with zero follow-up explaining the closure.

This shows a complete lack of communication, accountability, and respect for customers. Even a brief Instagram update would’ve saved me nearly two hours of driving and a frustrating hunt for a store that turned out not to be open. This is especially baffling for a boutique that positions itself as professional and style-conscious. The bare minimum of running a storefront is showing up, and communicating if you're not able to.

What makes it worse is I was genuinely excited to shop there. But after this experience — being misled by incorrect hours, ignored calls, and zero accountability — I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values their time or expects even basic professionalism.

Absolutely LOVE Nova & Co!

Not only are they the kindest and sweetest people that work there, they create the most amazing space for everyone to come and shop and feel comfortable!

They make sure the clothes they bring in are perfect for the style of their shoppers! So it’s easier to look through everything and find a GEM so easily!

I highly recommend checking out Nova & Co!

I've consigned here a few times now and I've always happy with the service, communication, and return for my items. It's hard to not spend the money I earn in store because they always have such cute trendy stuff. I highly recommend this store if you're looking to purge your closet and make some money while doing it 😉

4.9 stars is inaccurate. But eh, reviews can be subjective?

I'd give 0 stars if it was an option. My wife and I stopped by the next door consignment store originally. They carefully looked at my wife's vintage 90's clothing that was in great shape and each item was $200 to $500 per item when purchased back in that erra. The neighboring shop wouldn't take our items as they were above their 'wheel house'.. but they strongly recommended Nova next door.

We checked out their store.. and got a really weird vibe from the person we delt with originally. Regardless, we booked an appointment. Went in with our clothing which was pretty much the identical style clothing that was in their store .. The only difference being that our condition and value exceeded theirs. They would only take 3 of 40 items but wouldn't be able to take anything under 8 items to open an account.

Like I said.. Weird vibe.. and they totally missed out on some quality merchandise. Why.. Who knows?

This is really an amazing boutique in Downtown Langley. Friendly service and clean store. Loved that there is a size range from xxs-xxl. Consignment pieces that are in excellent condition! Will be back to shop again and again 🙂

Beautiful store full of treasures. I almost never leave empty handed - prices are pretty much compared to a thift stores around town - little bit higher but of course your getting high quality and often brand name clothing. Everyone is always so friendly.

My only complaint is the change rooms are tiny, I can't bring my stroller into them. its either leave the stroller outside the curtain with it cracked a little bit or pray it fits as no returns. Still giving 5 stars as that obviously a me problem but just a head up to mamas with Littles in stroller to maybe bring a friend.

I’ve been here a few times now and this place is such a hidden gem! The owner is so sweet and the selection is amazing for a wide range of sizes. Items are priced really well and they have sales pretty frequently - such a great little consignment store if you’re in the area!
