Très très bon les fudges aux patates. Ça ne goûte pas les patates et pourtant c'est le premier ingrédient de la liste.

Nous sortons à peine de la boutique... Je ne peux qu'en dire du bien. De base, hormis le fudge complètement décadent (ne pas en manger, vous deviendrez addict dès la première bouchée), la caissière est très sympathique. Du genre, la plus sympathique du monde. 😍. Ce fut très agréable de lui parler.

OH MY, Oh Fudge!!!
We dropped by Founders Market to a special treat.
The consistency and flavour of the potato fudge is divine! So smooth. So many flavours. The assorted box was a good start. It was a wonderful idea for Christmas gifts. We couldn’t resist opening one box tonight.😆 We’ll be back!!!

Yummy fudge, not super sickly sweet like some. Sea salted caramel and lemon pie were our faves. It would be nice if the shop offered samples to choose your favourite flavours.

On our way back from East Point Lighthouse to Charlottetown, we planned to grab a bite in Souris. We read about potato fudge and it sounded very interesting, so we decided to try it.. We took the assorted box that was recommended by the shopkeeper. Frankly, we were not expecting a lot having tried some real delicious normal fudge before. But boy, were we surprised.. Every one of the 6 flavours in the box were a treat. The orange and the orange chocolate were exceptional, which might be partly due to our bias towards all things orange.. Definitely recommend it!!

Visiting PEI and came across the Oh Fudge stall at the Founders Market. I have to say I was a little sceptical, however, the fudge truly is absolutely delicious! Definitely going back for more.

We stopped by just after 5pm not realizing that they were closing. We got to the door and read the sign and a lovely gentleman by the name of Mike who had just locked up asked us what we were looking for. We were after the potato fudge we had heard so much about. Mike opened up for us and let us in and then helped us with our selection. He was very helpful and nice.
We just got home from PEI and tried the fudge and OMG! It's such a bizarre thing but it is sooooo good. It isn't overly sweet like traditional fudge either and has considerably LESS calories.
We tried the chocolate, maple and the assorted pack. We tended to like the chocolate varieties best..but that's just us.

The fudge has 65% less sugar and is gluten-free . The owner Patricia and manager Mike gave us a private tour. There is nothing like this product anywhere. There are other potato fudge places but they add loads of sugar. The taste is mature, smooth and brillant. They make it by hand and they are almost always struggling to keep up. The price for a packet of fudge is only 8$. It is a must do experience in Souris. They also have a kiosk at the cruise ship terminal but it sells out so go straight there and then shop. I ❤️ this place!
