I was vacationing / visiting family in Vernon from ontario and was brought to this store . We had Wonderful experience at the tasting bar . Never thought I’d enjoy tasting vinegars and oils . But lo and behold , I loved everything . I made a few purchases . I was then introduced to the simple syrup and offered a lovely drink recipe . We made the drink that night (featuring whisky ) and it was fabulous. I had to go back the next day to get extra supplies to bring home . I made the drinks for a couple girlfriends and they loved it . I planned a lot of Christmas presents and will definitely be ordering in the future . Thanks for the lovely experience and fantastic vinegars .

This was my 182nd "eatery" in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.

They do free tastings here. They educated me about the oil and basalmic vinegar pairings as I tried twelve free samples like it was a gelato shop. The staff was very friendly and patient.

I eventually purchased a dill bottle and a baklouti chili bottle as they were my two favourite tastings.

I highly recommend popping in here for a tasting.

The lake country location closed down... So I was happy when I was in the area and dropped into stock up on my favorite oil Neapolitan Herb.

First time in Olive us! Its a lovely shop with a lot of specialty oils. I was looking for a unique gift set for a friend and stumbled upon their white truffle oil. I had a sample and it was amazing!! Found the perfect pairing gift set with their garlic olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Store was well organized and had lovely decor. Staff were friendly and helpful with my purchase. Very covid safe shopping experience. They also provided handy recipes for the truffle oil and gift wrapped my items. Great place to shop if you're looking for a functional gift they also have some unique kitchen wares and serving plates. I didn't try and of their salt rubs but they looked very savory.

Even during a global pandemic I was pleased to experience the Olive Us usual high standard of safety and cleanliness, generous supply and stock and awesome customer service! I went in for one item but came away with a sweet gift for my Mom too that was boxed and wrapped free of charge. It’s always a pleasure to browse and sample and the staff have lots of creative ideas.

Absolutely phenomenal experience here. I was lucky enough to speak with one of the owners when experiencing the tasting here. They were extremely knowledgeable, personable, and patient as they taught me all about ultra premium extra virgin olive oil. They were more than happy to let me try as many different oils—both flavoured and unflavoured—and balsamic vinegars—both white and dark. All this is just praise of their service.

The product was on a whole new level. I've never experienced extra virgin olive oil or balsamic vinegar like this. The diversity of flavour that was available in both the unflavoured options, and of course the flavoured options was mind blowing. I have never enjoyed balsamic vinegar in the past, and now I'm eating it as a snack nearly every day. The oil has a beautiful, deep, flavour and the texture is unparalleled.

I can't recommend this place enough. If you use extra virgin olive oil or balsamic vinegar, you need to visit this location and consider switching to their products. The North American grocery stores do not follow as strict of a vetting process that this location does. You get delicious, and just as importantly, truly nutritious oil here.
