I get we all have to make a dollar, but the shady low balling to try and make a dollar is unreal. Making customer feel like their buying a very rare item worth millions to selling something that you should of thrown in the trash and only give you a few dollars for only to mark up to 10x after you sell it to Omar's.

I have visited over 200 eateries and neatly every park, but I have been neglecting random shops in town.

Omar's has been present at multiple comic cons here in town.

This was an interesting place as N64 cartridges, hockey cards, comic books, vapes, paraphernalia, and other interesting items co-exist within such a space.

The shop can feel like a tight squeeze if one or two other customers are in there. Ebenezer's feels like you can get sucked in the void like a Take On Me music video. Omar's doesn't quite have that much empty space.

A couple customers were inside during my brief six or seven minute visit.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

They were selling N64 games for anywhere between $35 (for wrestling titles) and $50 for more popular titles (DKR).

Overall, I had a brief albeit interesting experience here at Omar's. I'd come here again.

Drove over from Kelowna as part of a day trip with my girlfriend. I had seen Omar's on google maps, and when I checked their store page I noticed a picture that had some coins on display. Went in to their store (there's 2 sides to the store by the way, to give some idea on how many collectibles they stock) and found the coins pretty quickly. Enjoyed looking through the display at them for 5/10 minutes. Made up my mind on a coin I wanted to buy, only for them to tell me they had one of those rotating displays on the other side. Spent another 5/10 minutes going through all of those, probably more lol. After deciding on the coin I wanted, the owner was willing to trade me it for a couple silver quarters I brought in with me.

Overall I left the store very happy, and had a great time just having the opportunity to look through the coins they had on display. It's definitely something I wish some of the collectible/coin stores in Kelowna had. One of the owners, I can't remember her name, but she was very friendly and talkative. I think when she noticed I was really into the coins she got excited and started showing me other commemorative coins they had for sale, and also let me know (as I had asked) that they're trying to get the hard plastic coin capsules in stock. I've been looking for a "more local" source for those, so I will definitely be back if they get them in.

I'd definitely check this store out if you haven't, and I know I'll definitely be back one day 🙂

I was looking for local places that sold packs of Pokémon cards. I’m not originally from here, and only recently started buying them. Went to the 19+ side and met the Wife Owner, who was super sweet! She’s the kind of woman you could tell is like family with her regulars. They had packs on both sides, but really cool individual Pokémon cards in their all ages side. Also some really cool thrift stuff, and the staff were really fun (gives off like, Sabrina the Teenage Witch’s cool aunts vibes in there). We ended up buying two packs from who I believe was the Husband Owner, who was very laid back. He helped us pick out two packs and they had some really rare cards in them. It was just a really fun experience. Also they had swords, cool swords.
