The new owner of the Outlook Motor Hotel has managed to breathe new life into this beloved establishment while maintaining its original charm. With significant improvements to both the physical property and the level of service, for me it stands out as a top choice for accommodation in the area. While there's always room for further enhancements, it's clear the Hotel is on a promising path under its new management. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and the location was convenient for my travels. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Terrible place to stay. Dirty with horrible customer service. Check-in time wasnt available until 2pm instead of 11am like we had been told prior. That being said there should have been lots of time to have our room cleaned. Once we arrived, there were dead bugs all over the floor (so not vaccumed), hair in the tub, bathroom sink leaked, there was a used cup under the bed and brown and red splatter marks on the walls.
When we went back down after and it was brought up to the staff member she told us there's nothing they can do about the bugs, (live bugs sure thats understandable but there's no way that many bugs died that fast from time they cleaned the room to the time we got in there. So it wasnt cleaned very well!) She went and checked the room her self and said it was fine and did offer to reclean (actually vaccume) it but the cup was still under the bed. While my spouse and i turned towards eachother to discuss another concern we went to say something and she was no longer around. Just walked away from us like how rude is that.
The next morning we talked with a different person and asked if there was a discount we could get even if it was 20% off or $20 and after a phone call, the manager tells us NO. No discount, that we can go to another hotel then. (They were basically all full so we couldnt do that or we would have) I told him well its too late for that cause we stayed here already. so we came just to pay for a dirty room then? And he just hung up on us. Not reccomending this place to anyone and definitely not staying there again.

We went for drinks and food, and to watch the football game. There were only 5 people in the bar, but we had a blast. We were camping in the nearby regional park, and were very thankful that the owner stayed open later than he had planned so we could watch the end of the game. Also, the food was very good. We had the fish and chips and our neighbours had pizza which they mentioned was fantastic.

We were pleasantly surprised with our experience at the Outlook Motor Hotel! The owners were very accommodating; they brought up full-length mirrors, an iron and an ironing board on request.
While the rooms were small for 2 people, they were cozy. We were happy to have a mini fridge in our room.
In the end, we were happy with our stay because our expectations were realistic. We got what we paid for.

Been travelling the province for work and found this place and it has been such a wonderful experience I will go out of my way to stay there again and again and again.
I've changed my travel plans to go through this town..

The people are great.
The food is great.
Best sleep I've had in months.
Hope my jobs send me through there again.

Very clean, very out of date, simple, affordable accommodation with comfortable beds. Rooms are a walk up to the second floor. Made a reservation for three of us in a double room, ended up put into two single rooms instead (after we had already checked in), which didn't really work for us as a family. I explained why my wife and I needed a room with two beds (one for us and one for our disabled daughter), but no dice, all they had was two single rooms. This despite the fact I made the situation clear when I made the reservation. Would stay here again, but would be much more insistent about the booking up front. Would have given it four stars if not for this.

The place is a dump. When I entered the door the first thing I saw was a dead plant, then i climbed the uneven stairs with peeling carpets to get to the rooms. I was disappointed by my room. It was small, and the paint was flaking off the ceiling. I could have put up with that, but the bar music was on full blast when I was trying to sleep. Oh, and the bathroom door wouldn't close. Would give it 0/5 if I could and would not recommend to anyone.

My husband and I stayed at the Outlook Motor Hotel in August 2015 after being left stranded by terrible experience with another motel in Outlook. I was initially put off by the location and exterior of the building, but ultimately truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spectacularly clean, and the customer service throughout the building (the adjoining bar and restaurant) was warm, gracious, and efficient While the rooms lacked the amenities I would usually hope for in a room, they were sufficiently equipped for a comfortable stay, with comfortable beds, quality linens and pillows, and adequate air conditioning. I must also stress again the cleanliness of the room; from the baseboards, to the window frames, to the underside of the night table and under the beds to the underside of the pedestal sink and the shower drains. All in all, our stay FAR exceeded my expectations, and I can't say enough for the staff!
