We had an incredible lunch at Pestos. This Italian deli is welcoming, authentic and simply delicious. Incredible sandwiches, coffee, cannolis and Italian grocery items. It’s a must if you are passing through the area!

This place is a small hole in the wall, an easy one to miss, but I tell ya the food here is outstanding. I had the pesto chicken sandwich and I’d be willing to bet it’s one of the best sandwich’s in the city! If you’re in the area it’s a much check out.

I recently found out about the sandwiches in this deli. AMAZING. The bun is perfect and unlike some other places, not too dense or too big, the meat is generous and tasty and the overall experience is just lovely. They also have some other great products like sauces, pasta, etc. I will certainly be returning there for sandwiches and in fact plan on getting lunch for my staff meeting next week from there. I can’t wait to take my kids here- I know they’ll love it.

Me llevo un familiar y me encantó. De verdad que es un supermercado no sólo con comida y bebida italiana, si no que es de mucha calidad. Nos comimos unos sandwiches exquisitos, que cada vez que me acuerdo o veo las fotos, se me hace la boca agua. El café esta delicioso. Pero lo mejor de todo sin duda, es el trato del personal. Si estás por Otawa, merece la pena visitarlo.

There's a reason why this deli is one of the only eateries in the area having a 4.7+ rating with well over 300 reviews. Pesto's deli is in a class of its own.

Their sandwiches will redefine what a good sandwich is for you. We had the Chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. The chicken was tender and exquisitely seasoned without being spicy, the vegetables were the freshest I've had anywhere, including the eggplant. You can add artichokes (extra), which we did and we loved how they blended with the relative simplicity of the rest of the ingredients.

The bread was simply the best way to wrap this magnificent and great balance of protein and veggies. The bread was fresh, soft and delicious in a way that other chain restaurants can't replicate.

I will be coming back to Pesto's deli again and again...and again.

Sandwich lovers, do yourselves a favor and try a good sandwich...you won't be able to go to the big sandwich chains anymore.
