This awesome store has 2 floors, the selection was fantastic, especially the toys, clothes, and a variety of coffee mugs and glass utensils. Everything was in excellent condition and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit for some unique finds!
Staff behaviour is also very kind and helpful.

Terrible experience with Pet Save Sudbury. We want to rescue a dog for the first time rather than purchase to help with the current overpopulation crisis, there so many puppies that need homes. However, after speaking with Sam, she was extremely condescending, rude and was trying to micromanage the way we would care for the dog. We are 100% competent and loving dog owners. We have had dogs our whole lives, and our animals are our lives. We take excellent care of our pets, and we would give any dog a fantastic home. I don’t understand how they can approach rescuing with this attitude. How are any dogs supposed to find homes? I was pre warned about Pet Save Sudbury from a family member, but I always approach everything with an open mind. However, I will definitely be steering clear of them for our first rescue experience. What a shame. They need to do better.

Jill is awful to deal with. Very rude, unprofessional and self righteous.

She ranted to me about how much she dislikes people. How older people shouldn’t adopt animals. Insinuating that I’m breeding animals just because of my street name.

Lots of cool nic nacs and things to decorate with for fair prices
Great place to go for glassware and silver ware.
Definitely a good cheap option for students to add some character to their homes or dorms without breaking the bank.
And it's for a great cause!
Wide selection of cheap clothes and kitchen electronics as well

I reached out to Petsave regarding a puppy! I dealt with Sam in the beginning who was absolutely lovely. Then I was to deal with Jill. Well this was a night and day experience for the professionalism and manners.

I have a cat who my daughter was allergic to him when he scratched. My vet had suggested nail guards which we tried but with no success! The vets next option for me was to declaw him. So I did for the concern of my daughter and to not lose our family pet.

Jill refused me the pup due to this reason. Her statement exactly was " YOU PEOPLE ARE THE ONES WHO GIVE ME ANIMALS " I have owned animals my whole life they are like your kids, I'm not giving my animals up!

Jill was very rude from the beginning of our conversation. Constantly discriminating me , belittling me and being very rude! I understand if that's her view. But she seems to only hear what she wants as she continued to tell me I did that for my own convenience which was never the case and my vet would be aware of this!

I'm really concerned for the well being of these animals if she can treat another human being this way! It's awful to have someone so unhappy in life be treating others this way! This has been by far the worst experience! I expected professionalism and manners at the least but unfortunately Jill lacks that virtue!

My apologies to the thrift store but this is for the adoption section. I'm posting a comment here because I was censored on Facebook.
I have had much the same experience as Sarah. I called twice, once to adopt and once to foster. Sam is the first one to answer and she is wonderful. She asks questions and gets excited if she thinks you would be a good fit. Then you have to go to Jill for a final interview. Jill is not very good at relations and discriminates for whatever reason. In my case, I have physical disabilities but she has no understanding of what my capabilities are, she heard disability and dismissed me outright from adoption. Jill promised to work to find me a dog but I never heard from her.
The next time I called to foster for a dog that had severe physical restrictions and again, Sam talked to me and was excited and thought I was a perfect fit. Sam said she would let Jill know and she was sure Jill would call me back right away. Never heard a single word.
Now I have a friend who has applied to adopt a dog and she is a perfect candidate and she too has not heard a word.
I look at their available dogs regularly and there are dogs that have been on the list for months and I cannot help wondering how many qualified people have been dismissed for ridiculous reasons.
If there is a board of directors for this group they should look into how and why the adoption process is or is not working. I feel sorry for the animals that go through Pet Save.
