All of my algorithms are telling me that I need to up my protein game, so I wandered into the King St Popeyes location in Oshawa, not entirely sure what I was looking for but hoping for some solid advice. Enter Kristina, who immediately made a beeline for me and insisted, “You HAVE to try the beef protein powder. It’s life-changing!” Now, I’m all for trying new things, but I’ve always been a little hesitant about beef protein—just really got in my head about the name. Kristina’s enthusiasm was infectious, and before I knew it, I was holding a tub of beef protein in my hands.

Cue Alex, the knight in shining armor, who saw the hesitation in my eyes and swooped in with a reassuring, “Hey, no worries, if it’s not for you, we’ll find something you’ll love.” I mean, this guy was ready to rescue me from a protein powder disaster before I even gave it a shot. He was ready to make sure I felt comfortable with my decision, no questions asked.

But here's the plot twist—Kristina was right! It’s actually delicious! Raspberry Lemonade and Lemon Lime were on point. I don’t know what kind of magic they’ve packed into that powder, but it’s smooth, tasty, and surprisingly not “beefy” in the weird way my mind wanted to make me believe. Alex’s rescue mission turned out to be unnecessary, but his backup plan was so solid I felt like a VIP customer.

Moral of the story: If Kristina insists on something, trust her. And if Alex offers you a rescue mission, just know it’s a safety net you probably won’t need. This location clearly has some top-tier products and an even better team that I would give a Super Starburst Xtreme Double Triple Platinum Firestorm award if it existed (only comp dance parents will get that reference)

10/10 would recommend for all your supplement needs (and beef protein-related adventures!)

Alex and Christina were super helpful! I always ask lots of questions and they never fail to have an answer. I really appreciate the customer service as I don't know much about supplements.
