While there I helped to upkeep the washroom as us women tend to use the facility’s well. The first impression was well kept so why not put our best feet forward and make a good place indeed quite lovely! Although when I had left I contacted via internet the intendant and asked if the water for the washroom and laundry room is good to drink and if it had been tested recently. I got the runaround for an hour for what should have been a yes or no answer and not an essay.

Pros:
- It is a small campground away from highway traffic.
- Decent rate.
- Self registration.
- Laundry facilities (although we never tested them).
- Good wifi, once you get the password.

Cons:
- You need to text and call the phone numbers for the wifi password and hope they get back to you before you leave.
- Owners do not live on site, no onsite care taker.
- Very non-inviting washrooms, we skipped showers for the night.
- Toilets didn't function well, maintenance required.
- Grass can not been cut in a while.
- Gopher holes are everywhere, very dangerous after dark, although the gophers were kind of entertaining.

We'd probable try the municipal campground if we were to stay again.

First camping of the year and it was amazing.
The sides are big and the best part is they have WiFi. My kids enjoyed the playground they have and playing on the Roblox on their phones ( peaceful time for me and wifey 😉
Ben was very nice and helpful. He even helped us to backup my RV. Will come back again for sure.

We called poplar grove while driving thru alberta and Sandy called us back right away. She explained everything from self registration to the wifi password. It was very easy to find off highway 1 and was a quiet spot to park for the night with all the services to hook up our rv.

We spent two nights here and the whole campsite has been neglected. Very unkept including washrooms etc. Highly overpriced and would not recommend it.
