Welcomed, Valued, and Impressed

What a great experience this was for us. PCNT was our first stop on what we had planned to be a weekend of visiting several Porsche dealerships across Toronto in search of our new Macan GTS. It ended up being the only stop we needed.

From the moment we met our salesperson, Erica Zhao, we knew we wanted to work with her. She welcomed us warmly, took the time to understand what we were both looking for, and made the experience feel collaborative and comfortable from the start. Walking into a Porsche dealership for the first time can definitely be intimidating, but Erica’s thoughtful and inclusive approach immediately put us at ease and made the decision to move forward with PCNT feel like the natural choice.

The day we picked up our vehicle is one we won’t forget anytime soon. From seeing our names on the video board to the way the car was presented—wrapped like a gift with a big red bow—it all felt thoughtful and personal. The warm reception at the front desk, Khalil’s detailed vehicle walkthrough, and Cedric’s help in the business office all came together to make us feel genuinely appreciated for choosing PCNT.

My experience with Porsche Centre North Toronto has been one of the most disappointing I’ve ever had with a luxury brand.
Over more than three weeks, I faced repeated delays, poor coordination, contradictory information, and a misleading invoice. They even mishandled the delivery of my vehicle — sending it to the wrong location despite clear written instructions.

Throughout this process, management demonstrated little professionalism or accountability. I’ve been servicing my vehicle at this dealership for years, trusting the Porsche brand. I paid the full invoice in good faith — yet what I received in return was disorganization, damage to my vehicle, and a total lack of transparency.

After the vehicle was returned, I discovered that the center cupholder was broken, and the rear passenger door sill was dented — neither issue existed prior to service.

It was only after I went public with my experience and issued a formal legal warning that management finally responded. Their “loyalty” offer? A refund — of my own money — but only if I signed a mutual legal release waiving my right to pursue further action.

How is that loyalty? Or accountability?

I visited the dealership with my wife to retrieve her belongings from our vehicle.
The manager casually told us:

“If you have your second key, just walk around the lot and try to find your car.”

We were stunned.

Just days earlier, I had been told the car was securely stored in the basement “for safety.” So… which version was true?

🔻 Even more concerning, a friend of mine who bought a brand-new Cayenne E-Hybrid from the same dealership around the same time called me after reading my review. He shared that a manager at the dealership had compared Porsche to a well-known American discount brand known for “low prices.”

We were shocked — not only by the inconsistency and poor communication, but by the mindset that seems to be leading a luxury dealership.

This reflects a systemic and cultural problem — not just one bad day.

Luxury is about more than logos. It’s about integrity, care, and trust. If this is how Porsche treats long-time customers, it raises serious questions about the brand’s future in markets like Canada.

❗If anyone at Porsche Canada or Porsche AG believes this reflects Porsche standards, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Because silence isn’t loyalty. And I’m done being silent.
