We worked with Powell’s on several events and they are absolutely incredible. They give so much back to the community. It is so impressive. We also appreciate that they use local businesses whenever possible. As for the inside, the grocery store is fantastic. Everything looks so fresh and beautiful. The store is well stocked and the staff is incredible. I really can’t say enough good things.

Can’t say enough about this store. The Manger Darrell and his staff are excellent and don’t hesitate to go the extra mile. The quality of the produce and meat are exceptional. It was really enjoyable to go to a store that’s clean, brightly lighted and easy to move around. They are our #1 stop for groceries.
If you want something really awesome to eat then definitely checkout Nan’s Kitchen inside Powell’s. Their hot turkey/roast beef sandwiches with fries, dressing, veggies and gravy are delicious.

BEST GLUTEN FREE SELECTION in the province. Amazing amount of choice . It can be so difficult to find options - kudos for helping make our life a little easier - two kids with gluten allergies makes it very difficult to find things they like, expecially sweets and treats. Well done !

This is a great store. Their fresh bread and produce are second to none. The staff are friendly and eager to help. This is a store I go out of my way to shop. Nan's Restaurant attached to the store is great too. All day breakfast and their pizza are really good. 5 thumbs up ! ? ? ?

I usually am a satisfied customer at Powell's Bay Roberts but on Jan 1st, I bought a blueberry Golden Crust Swiss roll that was supposed to be best before Jan 2nd.
It looked delicious and of course I took a bit without thinking twice. Suddenly the moldy taste hot me and turned me off. It was around 7pm when I called the store to complain, right after I had tasted the cake. First, they kept me on hold for about half hour, checking in a couple times, hoping I'd have dropped the call.
Finally when I got to talk to a person, they said that the manager incharge has left but the person on the call would be able to take any message on their behalf.
I complained and they said if I can bring back the receipt and they will give me a free cake of same price. I let them know that I was more worried about getting sick and not concerned about getting a refund or free cake. At this, the person on the call laughed!! And continued to say that they can't do anything about that.
All I wanted was someone to take responsibility for not making sure their food is for for sale and consumption, but instead they laughed at my concern!!

This is ridiculous and I know I will be buying pre cooked/ baked products from this store.
