This local shopping place is a cool place to spend some time with family.

There are a good range of stores and services, there is a huge and spacious food court at the lower level with a range of food and desert options.

The good thing here is the imagine cinemas at the lower level across the food court. I have never been there but seems like really good and prices are pretty readonable compared to Cineplex.

The food court here, is pretty spacious in terms of sitting area and its so bright with a high ceiling and clear and bright design. There are a handful of options to pick for food, like tims and some asian options.

We usually come here to enjoy coffee and ice cream from Baskin.

The ambience is pretty nice here and overall I like the brightness of the whole mall and its spaciousness compared to walk-in traffice. The place is usually clean and the outdoor parking is pretty huge.

Opting for this mall is ideal as it's rarely crowded, given its ample size, allowing you to concentrate solely on your shopping. Many of my preferred brands have outlets here, and the unique court on the third floor houses dentistry, Kumon, and various other businesses.

Found a cool record shop beside the food court! But the mall itself kind of felt abandoned and eerie. A lot of stores were closed. I would also recommend adding more mainstream ones. Like where has Aroma, Aritzia, and Starbucks gone

Shopping wise, not much to see here. All the stores that made it worth coming here are all gone. They have a small H&M, Bath and Body Works, Urban Planet and boathouse. The rest are stores you probably never heard of, or ones you don't shop at.
Food court is the same. Not much selection. Although the atmosphere of the food court is nice and comfortable. More worth it to come for the vibe, and the Imagine Cinema. On the plus side, due to the lack of shopping choices, the mall is not busy during the holidays.

Promenade Mall offers a shopping experience that feels rather underwhelming, particularly for those accustomed to more diverse retail options. The mall's previous attractions have largely disappeared, leaving behind only a few familiar stores such as a small H&M, Bath & Body Works, Urban Planet, and Boathouse. Beyond these, the selection dwindles to lesser-known or less popular stores, which may not appeal to everyone.

One notable aspect of Promenade Mall is its demographic. You’ll often find a larger number of seniors frequenting the mall, which might contribute to a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. This can be a plus for those looking to avoid the hustle and bustle typically associated with larger shopping centres.

The food court, while lacking in variety, maintains a pleasant and comfortable environment. Despite the limited selection of food options, the seating area is well-kept and offers a nice place to take a break. On the bright side, the relatively low foot traffic due to the mall’s sparse shopping options means it remains uncrowded, even during the busy holiday season.

In summary, while Promenade Mall might not be the go-to destination for extensive shopping, it does offer a calm and comfortable environment for those who appreciate a more subdued mall experience.

This mall is surrounded by residences, but it is always quiet when, at the same time, other malls are busy. There are quite a few empty stores, too. I go here a few times a year for the discount and some other clothing stores, but otherwise there isn't a lot to draw me in. At least now we only need to pay one bus fare, to get there from Toronto.

The Shredder

Promenade mall has quite the amount of hidden treasures.
Surely to leave you wanting to come back.
The shops are well assorted and the food court is amazing.
One star off because the washrooms are quite repulsive.
