Quickie Convenience Stores - Ottawa, Ontario

Today, I visited Quick in Ottawa and spent about three hours there while working on an interesting task. During that time, I had the opportunity to observe how the staff operates, and I was very impressed.

The store has a warm, almost family-like atmosphere. It’s clear that the employees strive to create a welcoming environment for every customer. I especially want to highlight the young woman behind the counter—she took the time to listen to each visitor and assist them individually. The rest of the staff also did a great job; they were helpful and friendly.

The store offers a wide selection of products, and I was particularly pleased with the variety of sweets. Next time, I will definitely try the ice cream.

I understand how challenging it is to run a retail business, and I believe that such establishments deserve support. You can see that the franchise owners have put a lot of effort into this store, and I sincerely wish them success. If you’re looking for a great place to shop in Ottawa, I highly recommend checking out Quick!

good location. wish it were 24 hours, or at least open later. many things are quite pricy here, however good selection and there are fair deals for certain things here.

Recently, I used a CIBC ATM inside the Quickie at Mann Ave to withdraw money, assuming I wouldn’t be charged since I have a Simplii card. Not only was there a $400 withdrawal limit, but I was also charged $1.50 each time, totaling $4.50. This feels like plain robbery. They should clearly inform customers about these fees before anyone uses their ATMs.

The guy at the front counter Mohmmad is extremely rude and unhelpful.Hard-to-communicate fussy uninterested with nasty attitude treating people like a trash.Instead of providing customer service, he expects the customer to provide him the service and do his job.
I am wondering all the reviews are almost same about.him and he is still there lol

It's a real shame that they dont believe in paper cups here. All of their cups are styrofoam like it's still 1987. Apparently this decision is not a local owner but a Quickie policy. This is frankly the absolute worst environmental option available. Apparently Quickie is the worst and should be canceled.

I was in there for four minutes and an employee accused me of being in there for 20… was extremely rude and disrespectful. I have a feeling it’s because of my skin colour because his disrespect was completely spontaneous and uncalled for. Serious problems from this place, would rather go without getting my snacks next time.

Attempted to pick up a parcel with delivery card and ID in hand and was told I couldn't because my spouse's name was also attached to the parcel and she had to be there too, which I confirmed with Canada Post's customer service line to NOT be the policy. Either one of us can pick up a package that's addressed to both of us! Submitted a complaint with Canada Post.

So rude and racist, bad customer service and there so juge mental. These people insulted my daughter and her friend . All they know to do is give dirty looks . They don't make you welcome
