Cute little book shop that smells wonderfully of binding adhesive. They also sells coffee and snacks. The young lady working who is apparently the daughter of the woman who owns it, was very nice. They seemed to have a nice selection of books. Kind of makes you want to sit down by the water in a Muskoka chair….and lose a day or two, in a novel. Worth checking out!

This is a lovely shop that entertains all your reading needs and then some. The owners are knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with and Lindsay gives firsthand reviews on an amazing number of titles. I appreciated that they have a section that showcases local talent. I highly recommend anyone to pop in and browse.

Whether it be be about bird species in the Bruce Peninsula, a guide to Bruce Trail hikes, canoe and kayak routes in and around the Georgian Bay and/or Lake Huron, or if you’re looking to learn more about the history of the shipwrecks that made Tobermory what it is today, the Reader’s Haven Book Store is sure to have everything you need.

Great little store with lots of books and some souvenirs. I was able to buy some postcards and a laminated Ontario map (who knew they still make those lol). But my favorite was the popcorn. And they also sell lottery. Always fun buying lotto tickets on vacation.

A delightful bookstore in Tobermory, Ontario. Has new and used books. Also a section of Canadian authors( I live in United States). Books of all subjects. The owners are a mother and daughter. Definitely worth visiting when in Tobermory. Photo is a collection Alexander McCall smith ladies detective agency books.

Fantastic folks! Long story short, our grand daughters (9 and 10 years old) bought books there yesterday. The younger girl's book feel out of her bag on the way out. My wife called when we got home and realized the book was missing. The owner said someone picked up the book and apparantly attempted to return it for a refund...really?!!
I went into town today to replace the book. The young lady who helped the girls out yesterday was most helpful to figure out what books she had not read in a series since the original purchase was the last one of that book. I brought the book to the register and offered to pay. The staff insisted that I should not pay for the replacement. These folks could not have been more accomdating to a customer. In addition to wonderful service and books, I strongly recommend this place for a variety of fun foods an souvenir. Thank you!! You made a little girl's day!!
P.S. I hope the deadbeat adult who has a childs book enjoys the read.

A cute bookstore to stop by on the Bruce Peninsula in Tobermory. Great selection of books (with sales!) and they even have a section of used/antique books.

Reader’s Haven even sells coffee, tea, and popcorn to snack on if you want to cozy up on the dock.
