Large store to get all the groceries. What’s the difference apart from other groceries It’s having a wide varieties of all kinds of meats & even kosher section exclusively. It a decent collection of wine & beers. The self check counter is small and can accompany 4-5 persons which might take a bit to bill.

On October 19, 2024, at 3:30 PM, I visited this large and reputable store to buy onions. Unfortunately, I noticed that the weight of the bags was less than what was advertised, even though there were no signs of the bags being opened or torn. What really upset me was that this issue wasn't limited to just one bag; most of the onion bags had the same problem.

Such behavior from stores towards their customers is simply unacceptable. When the weight of a product is less than stated, it reflects a disregard for customer rights and amounts to deception. Customers have the right to purchase products that match what has been promised, both in terms of weight and quality.

This kind of underhanded practice and sale of subpar products not only harms customers but also damages the reputation and trustworthiness of the store. Due to this negative experience, I have decided not to return to this store. I hope the management takes this issue seriously and prevents such unethical behavior from continuing.

Went in Superstore at Dufferin and Steeles on Fitzgerald Drive today, May 3, 2024. Some of the produce was just terrible. Romaine lettuce was $3.99, limp and discolored, avocado bags had soft ones only, would hardly last a couple of days but what took the cake was the okra. How can a supermarket have rotten produce on display for sale. They had gone bad and they were selling it at $4.99 a lb! I asked the produce associates if they had additional supply at the back and each time I was told whatever is on display, very unhelpful produce staff. I have recently moved into the area and find this location really lacking in more than one way, nothing in comparison to the Don Mills/Eglinton location.

Update: We are now into July 2024 and things haven't really gotten any better at this store. Not only do they continue experience inventory woes, be it grocery or produce, but they also can't seem to keep the store clean. In addition, I have visited this store several times and there is a serious lack of cashiers and self check out is just as busy. It's time for the parent company, Loblaws, to conduct an inspection of this store.

Whoever is hiring these employees on the ground floor needs to be fired, like are you serious? I'm trying to shop, grabbed some bags for my fruits and vegetables, then I got this employee coming out of no where and telling me to put the bags back while I'm putting my stuffs in them? Absolutely idiotic, and poor in customer support. Maybe think twice before hiring people, and better yet, think thrice before putting them to work on the ground floor with the customers. Because if I'm going to be spending my money here every week, then the least you can do is have some sensible people working these sensible job.
