Great variety of home products but the cleaning is missing.
Washrooms at least it's 1 month nobody cleans them.
Plant are dying, looks like staff don't know they need water.

Whoever is stocking this store needs to do better. Both in terms of items listed on website not being in stock at this location, and in terms of stock counts shown on website being immaculate, I often don't find what I'm looking for at this location. Most staff do seem quite helpful, particularly (Manu?) who helped me look for several minutes to find another door handle that showed as in stock (another immaculate stock count), but unfortunately to no avail

Save yourself the time and headache, and shop somewhere else. They make it so difficult to be a paying customer, it's like they're trying to go out of business. Half the time, they don't have what you need in stock. So I've checked online to make sure it's in stock before going there, but then it's not on the shelf. Asked an employee, and he didn't know how to help me, so I order online for pickup. I go in after being notified my order is ready, and it takes them half an hour to find it.

On my last attempt, I checked online, and the items I needed were in stock, and one was on sale! When I went in, the sale item didn't have the sale price displayed. It was also locked away, and the only employee I could find was busy with another disgruntled customer. Not wanting to wait any longer, I went to pay for the other item I came for. The self-checkouts were closed, so I went to the customer service desk. They told me their till wasn't working, and directed me to another cashier. I tried to pay, but the machine couldn't process my credit card (which worked perfectly fine 10 minutes later at another store). Every attempt to shop there is a huge waste of my time, so I'll be saving time driving the extra 20-30 minutes to/from Castle or Home Depot instead from now on.

the experience I had renting a van from this Rona was so frustrating that I feel I must warn others.

The process started poorly. The staff member handling our rental was completely unfamiliar with her own system, taking over 30 minutes to figure it out while we waited.

The real issue began with the vehicle inspection. The employee pointed out a few major scratches and was ready to send us on our way. I stopped her and did my own check, finding over a DOZEN additional dents and scratches that she had missed. If I hadn't been diligent, we could have been held responsible for all that pre-existing damage. This level of carelessness is a huge red flag.

The return was even worse. We returned the van on time—our trip was simply to the nearby Costco (pick up a sofa) and back to our house, which is 5 minutes from the store. It's virtually impossible we were late. However, the same staff member insisted we were overtime and charged us an extra fee. She was dismissive, wouldn't listen to reason, and we ended up paying just to end the infuriating encounter.

The most ironic part of it all? There was a picture of this employee on the wall, named "Service Star of the Month." If this is what Rona considers "star service," then I urge you to be extremely cautious.

Advice for future renters: If you absolutely must rent from here, document EVERYTHING. Take pictures and videos of the vehicle before you leave, and be prepared to stand your ground against unfair charges.

They always let me down with customer service. Every single time I need to ask a store associate a question where to find something or any small detail about a product It involves wandering aimlessly to find someone for a long time and then since under staffed that one person. Probably is already helping someone and then wait another 5-10 min. Then you finally ask the question. My question was do you have the adhesive for rubber base trim. There is sp3cific adhesive for this application but all they could suggest is pl premium which is not ideal use.

So I dropped the product in an aisle left and bought the EXACT same vinyl wall base at homedepot for $30 less and guess what the associate is found within 1 min knew where the base bond adhesive was.

This is just the last experience I had there, but I feel this way every damn time I go there. The prices are higher and the service is poor.

So understaffed. It's hard to find someone to help you find anything. I ordered an item in-store at the Tillicum location to be sent from the Langford location (thinking it would be convenient...I was so wrong). Why did it take 2 weeks to get?! I had to call the store multiple times to get an status update.

The staff are friendly. That’s about it. This location never has anything useful in terms of fasteners and building supplies. It should just become a home decor store. It is NOT a hardware store. If it wasn’t for the staff, this location would get 1 star. It might get 3 stars if there was ever enough staff to get assistance.
