Buyer Beware. Spoke to Lokesh Parashar. Getting 4 new tires weren't an issue at all, but when I went back for other mechanic work the experience was extremely poor. My car warning lights were like a Christmas tree on my 2018 Honda HRV. I use it as a work vehicle for long distance travel so my first thought was safety. I took it to this shop because it was very close by. I also called first to make sure they could do the work. They charged me $84.75 for a diagnostic test and refused to give me any formal paperwork with details. They told me the invoice and their texts were enough. At this point I was a bit annoyed because all they did was reset the warning lights and they just came back on the next day. I needed to know if the vehicle was safe to drive. Before they reset it, they said I needed to order a new starter from the dealer, then they said I need transmission fluid, and said something about the setting of my breaks as "manual" instead of "electrical" was the cause of the lights. When the warning light came back, they said to run my car for 20 minutes, a few of the warning lights dissapeared so they said I needed a new battery. I asked why he didn't just test the battery and tell me when I came the first time and he replied it was a new symbol and it never showed before. This is when I saw red flags and asked for the print out and they claimed they couldn't provide one. If you pay for a diagnostic test expect no paperwork. I had to take my vehicle to a more reputable mechanic shop further away and pay again for another diagnostics. I didn't mind that it cost a little more, my primary concern was always safety, I had already missed opportunities to make money to get this sorted. The new shop gave me a full print out and said it was my CVT Transmission Belt Speed Sensor. I immediately asked them to order the part and let Lokesh know that they said my ignition/starter and my battery were fine and the sensor had been damaged. I asked for a refund based on the fact nothing was done and the diagnostic results weren't accurate. Had I fixed the starter and got a new battery I would have wasted money and ended up eventually breaking down from not fixing the real issue. Lokesh ignored my text. I gave him ample time before leaving this review to do the right thing. In the end when the other shop opened things up to replace the sensor they realized the entire transmission needed to change and shards of metal had went into the sensor and damaged it. They once again sent proper documentation supporting their findings. I decided to just get a new vehicle, but had I put my trust in Lokesh I would have been in an even worse situation. I gladly paid the diagnostics bill to the other mechanic shop. As for Lokesh and his business, he can keep the money. This is the 3rd time in a year I have been took for my money and I hope this review brings awareness to others about these type of questionable establishments and the potential dangers of doing business with them.
