If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a football cake for my son’s first birthday (photo request attached). My husband picked up this cake yesterday (photo attached). Disappointed is an understatement. The cake is poorly decorated including paper and a terrible example of a logo, and was not even brown. The one was written with a permanent marker.
I contacted the bakery and was told that they “got pulled into another event and could not focus on the cake”, extremely unprofessional. I was told the owner would contact me within 30 minutes to rectify the situation. I never received a phone call. I had to run to our local grocery store and pick up a cake last minute to replace the cake we ordered and did not use. Very disappointed with my experience and ruined an important part of this special milestone for our family.

The owner Cheryl contacted me this morning. She was extremely rude and unpleasant. She did not apologize for my disappointment nor did she apologize for not calling me back the on Saturday. I have been told that I need to return the cake to have a refund. I have to drive 30 min with my baby to deliver the cake, when they should be apologizing and offering a refund over the phone. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a business. I hope they learn from this experience and improve their customer service.

Request a custom birthday cake which said happy 8th birthday, have red and orange flames on the sides and have a fire truck. Was informed it would be no problem. Received a plain white cake with yellow frosting and red sprinkles. Due to the long weekend, unsure if this will be resolved. $74 for this product. Update: was informed this was not their usual work and apologized, said they have been dealing with above normal temperatures. They promptly provided a full refund.

Cheryl and her team made our wedding cake, and cupcakes and delivered it for us to our venue. The cake was moist and also beautifully arranged. Thank you so much Cheryl and team for executing the cake exactly like the image that was sent - it was beautiful!

We organized a virtual retirement celebration for a co-worker. I emailed Simply Baked Catering and asked if we could get a cake delivered during the event. I received a call back within 2 minutes. The bakery does not have a designated delivery driver but the Manager/Owner graciously offered to do the delivery herself on her way home from work. It was the perfect addition to the celebration. We are so grateful and the cake was absolute perfect!!! I don't live in the area but I ordered based on the reviews. Our coworker who received the cake, said she knows the bakery well and knew it would be delicious. Thank you for the incredible service & cake.

Absolutely loved this bakery! Their scones are simply incredible – perfectly baked, tender, and available in a wonderful variety of flavors. The raspberry scone was a standout for me. Highly recommend this place.

We had the immense pleasure of working with Cheryl Beasley for the catering of a monthly networking event off-premises.

We needed easy-to-eat reception-style food. Cheryl was very forthcoming with ideas, and highly accommodating of our requirements with both our budget and dietary restrictions.

I wish we'd taken pictures! The veggie platter, cheese & charcuterie platter, the savoury scones and mushroom turnovers platter were all attractively laid out, as were the fruit and sweets! The food rating from our event evaluations were some of the highest we have seen this year. Thank you Cheryl and Jolene!

The BEST red velvet cake I’ve ever had. My husband ordered this on short notice and Simply Baked Catering more than accommodated. We will buy all cakes from them. Their prices are by far the best!!!!!!

We visited this place today while driving in nice weather.

The very friendly owner welcomed us warmly and we tried the blueberry scone and cheese garlic bread. The scones had plenty of blueberries and a nice buttery scent, and the generous amount of blueberries and garlic bread were soft and moist, and the harmony of cheese and garlic was very good. After eating the bread, we felt happy. Next time, I want to visit earlier and try more of the different breads.
