The floral department is fantastic. Sava made custom arrangements for me and was excellent to work with, explaining the various options/alternatives and giving me a clear idea of what it would look like. The flowers were perfect, ready on time, and Sava was genuinely happy to help. 10/10 experience, highly recommend. Thank you Sava!

I usually have a good experience, but this one time, I needed to buy 2 things, and then I went to the express checkout because I wanted to pay with cash. There were only 2 people in front of me but they were both there buying lottery tickets. What's the point of an express checkout if you're offering services there that are not an express pace. I waited for 10 minutes then I had to run to the bus stop but the bus left 1 min earlier, making me go into the store and sit down for another 25 minutes, making me think about my life choices. It would make a lot more sense if they have a lottery at the normal check outs instead of the express ones.

I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service in my life. My brother and I went to Sobeys today, just to do a simple shopping trip, but it quickly turned into an absolute nightmare. My brother wanted to buy a lottery ticket and had his ID with him, but the employee at the counter, Alexis, was completely clueless. The first time we went to her, she didn’t know how to handle the transaction. Fine, that happens, but then the second time she outright refused to serve him, which is just unacceptable.

She claimed that she couldn’t serve him because I didn’t have an ID on me, which was completely illogical. I was simply accompanying him, and he had the required ID. It’s ridiculous that she couldn’t understand the basic policy that if my brother has the ID, he should be served.

To make matters even worse, when her manager came over, Alexis was rude and dismissive. She spoke to both of us in a very disrespectful manner, and it was clear she had no training in how to interact with customers. I work in customer service, and the behavior we experienced today was beyond unprofessional. There’s no excuse for treating customers like that, especially when they are following the rules.

I’m beyond frustrated and will never step foot in this store again. This experience was an absolute disgrace, and I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the poor service and attitude of their staff.

I had a very frustrating experience at Sobeys today. I went in to buy a lottery ticket and had my ID with me, but the employee at the counter, ALEXIS, didn’t seem to know how to properly assist me. The first time I approached her, she was unsure of what to do, and the second time, she refused to serve me entirely.

She said she couldn’t serve me because the person with me didn’t have an ID, which made no sense. I had my ID on me, and there was no reason for her to refuse service. As I understand it, she should have served me with my valid ID, regardless of who I was with.

When the manager came over, ALEXIS was rude and unprofessional. Her behavior was unacceptable, and it completely ruined my experience. As a customer, I expect much better service, especially when I’m following all the rules.

I won’t be returning to this store, and I hope management takes action to address the poor service and attitude of their staff.

I have shopped at this Sobeys numerous times, and I am consistently impressed by the quality of product, variety of premade dishes, and availability of products. I recently ordered several entertaining platters online, which was a smooth and easy process. Picking them up today was a breeze. They were ready at the specified time and friendly staff brought them to my cart. They looked great, and tasted great. We got some fruit kebabs, and they were particularly great. They were fresh, colourful, and had a good variety of fruits. They did a wonderful job and I would fully recommend them.

I do all my shopping here now. Small and easy to shop. The most friendly staff and easy to get help when required. Might be pricier for a big family but such fresh products. Perfect for a single guy. The girls in the wine shop are the best!

Always clean, fully stocked and offers a lot of nice promotions. Staff is quite decent and helpful. Bakery section has a great variety of food. A good place for people with Air Miles Collector card. Can get air miles on almost every product. This location is not so much busy. Parkings are always available.
