I’m thoroughly disappointed and yes, outright frustrated with Soldier Gear’s total lack of customer care and their blatant refusal to address clear errors. When mistakes occurred, instead of owning up to them, the company shrugged them off and offered no solution.

Despite advertising “excellent service” and “quick shipping,” my experience was the exact opposite. I reached out multiple times to rectify the issue, only to be met with silence or vague, dismissive replies. It was as if admitting fault even minimally was off the table for them.

A business that’s proud of its products should stand behind them. Soldier Gear failed to meet even the most basic standards of accountability. If you expect prompt help or any semblance of integrity when things go wrong, I strongly advise you shop elsewhere.

My experience at Soldier Gear was incredible. Kumar is the best customer service representative I have ever come across. He listens very well in fact, he listens with a caring attitude. I highly recommend Soldier Gear in Angus, Ontario. Barrie, baby!

I dont know what happened to this place. I went to it about 12 years ago and it seemed like a decent shop. I ordered some military rank and name velcro patches and after a little received an email with a picture of my items ready to pick up. When I wentbto pick them up only my name tags were there, they had sold the rank patches to someone else. The shop looked like a hoarders house, smelly and junk everywhere. The employee was flipping junk over looking for my items, thats how bad it was. After looking for a while the employee called who I assume was the owner and then said after taking my number tht they would rush the order to have it ready for pick up the following week. After a few weeks I stopped by because I didn't receive a call. I explained the situation again and basically went through the same scenario and was told I would receive a call. Later I received a call from again I assume the ower who said it will be available for pickup in a few days and I would receive a call. This again a few weeks later and I have given up, no call and Im not going back to their filthy store to try and get a resolution.

What can I say… I had an amazing experience with this business! I had the pleasure of dealing with the owner, who truly went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I had missed him when I went to pick up my order, and even though it was outside of regular hours, he personally dropped it off at my place, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to see such dedication to customer service.

One thing I would suggest to others is to always follow up with the chatbot on their website. I made the mistake of not checking it, and missed out on important details about the pickup time. It was entirely my oversight, but the chatbot is there to help with clear communication, so I recommend keeping an eye on that for a smoother experience.

Overall, fantastic service and a great person to do business with. Highly recommended! They also moved a few stores down to a new location so the address won’t be the same from google.

Ordered a bunch of custom nametags in the new CADPAT MT from them. Turnaround from the order being placed to it being produced and shipped was maybe ~24-36 hours. Other places take 1-2 weeks minimum. I was even sent a photo of the items before being shipped which was a nice surprise. Would highly recommend!

This company lacks seriousness and lies to the customer.

I ordered nametapes online that I have never received in weeks when the order was paid for. I spoke to the owner by phone by message by email too. He always says that I will receive my package in the next few days and never anything. He lied to me several times and promised to repay. I never got a refund. He reacts to the message and then no longer responds.

A big lack of seriousness. It doesn't even deserve a star. It looks like a scam clearly and theft. Lie + theft.

If I could possibly give my purchase 10 ⭐'s I would. I walk long distances every morning & needed a warm/waterproof jacket. I purchased the "SNUGPAK" jacket & even at -20°celcius I have never been warmer. Recently it was absolutely pouring rain & I wore my touque under the hood. I came home my touque was bone dry as was I. Even though the outer layer of the coat was literally dripping wet. This truly has been the best investment I've ever made. KUDOS to the owner Kumar & the store Manager Chris who recommended my purchase. Thank you Thank you. 👍
