Update: the owner reached out to me personally and will be helping me exchange my glasses for a new pair. She went over and above to contact me during her personal time and has set aside a few different pairs for me so I can hopefully find a pair that fits my face. Good quantity items and customer service is very important to them.

They had a spot set up at the Calgary Stampede and I was drawn in by all the very cute items. But make sure your item works/isn’t damaged because no one will respond to your messages via email and IG.

I bought a pair of sunglasses. The pair I tried on at the Stampede were great! But they gave me “a new, never worn pair” to take home. I should have tried them on before I left because the size is far larger than the ones I tried in store. They slip off my nose and face the moment I put them on. So please let me take a $50 dollar bill and just burn it because that is essentially what I did since the number of times and ways I’ve tried to contact the company regarding this issue. I even have proof that someone saw my message on IG and no one responded. I will not allow a company to take my money, and this essentially is what they have done if they don’t reach out and make this right.

The first two photos are of the width of the arms on the sunglasses I bought from 1909. The 3rd and 4th photo are of my sunglasses I have owned for almost 20 years and the width of the arms. The 1909 arm width is significantly wider. And the 5th and 6th photo is the proof of my attempts to reach someone on two occasions. I tried to reach someone the same day I bought the sunglasses with the hope to receive a response and rectify the issue before the Stampede ends. Then I figured, well maybe they’re really busy from Stampede, so I patiently waiting to hear from them, on the days they are open, once they returned to Lethbridge. And nothing. I will continue to contact them for an answer. I hadn’t called them because it’s really hard to find their phone number anywhere else but on Google Maps.

And this is not typically what I do for reviews. More often I want to give a shout out to companies that have done a great job. But I don’t know how else to get this companies attention at this point.

Great customer service! I bought a purse that ended up having a defective zipper. Despite it being months after purchase, the store reached out to the supplier on my behalf and was able to get me a new one. I appreciate their loyalty and support to their customers!

Went to pick up some great wooden hangers, for an incredible price. Met Kara to get the items, and busy as she was, took the time to look after it right away. What a great business owner. I highly recommend Kara's shop.

Splurge is an absolutely beautiful store with an incredible selection of womenswear every season! Kara and her team are friendly, welcoming and so lovely to deal with.

I love how each piece of clothing, each pair of shoes and every accessory is great quality and have lasted me years in my closet.

Went into this cute store twice , prices are crazy but still very cute clothing ... I went in recently and discovered they have a purse listed for 50 dollars and i realized its the exact same purse I got off of Amazon for 17 dollars, I know it's a business and everyone needs to make money but I know the purse is cheap that's why I was fine paying 17 dollars but the fact that they marked up the price so much is ridiculous, I no longer will support this shop .

A very nice women's clothing store downtown Lethbridge. A great selection with a variety of sizes and styles. They have some jewelry, bags, candles and perfumes. I was impressed with the seasonal sale going on. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I'll be back!

I just received a delivery from Splurge and Co. I have always had amazing customer service there and the selection is amazing. I love my new crop jeans and feel very lucky to have this adorable local shop in our city. The jeans are so comfy and I know they will be my go to crop pant for the summer Thanks so much Kara for boosting my mood in this pandemic!
