Landed in Calgary ready for trip on the Rocky Mountaineer but unfortunately my gas curling tings were confiscated by airport security. Frantic, I arrived in town quite late in the afternoon , directed to find the hardware store by hotel staff. What a wonderful warm welcome by the lady at the counter, she made me feel like an old friend. Sorted me out with new tongs and even gave me a discount. Great little hardware store. Went in to find a small electric heater and they had several different ones to choose from. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very close to a pay parking lot.

Easy to find and the staff were very helpful. I popped in to buy propane for my camp BBQ and was in and out in less than five minutes!
