Came for an event and was disappointed about the cost vs. value. Price of rooms was very high but everything was outdated, dusty, bad renovation, and moisture warped. There was an event menu for lunch that was reasonable but small... but then they kept the same thing for dinner, and most things were deep fried and unhealthy. Service was friendly but slow. Night time there was LOUD music/base that you could hear everywhere. Understandable that the location is on a lake and that typically means you pay more, but it's off season and the lake just turns into a wind machine so again you would think pricing would be a bit more reasonable.

Wonderful stay at the Lodge. We were looking for a one night stay on our way to Toronto and stopped at the lodge. Casey was very accommodating. He set us up in one of the ice shanty's to do some night ice fishing! We had an amazing time. Very hospitable and the pizza we had when we came back in the pub was delicious! Our room overlooked the lake. Beautiful in the winter time!||Thank you for a very memorable night on Stoco Lake!

The location of this lodge is perfect. It’s right by the lake. There is a pub and patio overlooking the lake. The hotel and the restaurant are both dog friendly. There is plenty of space around the hotel to take your dog for a toilet break. The views of the lake are stunning. The rooms are a bit dated but that wasn’t surprising to me. The amenities and furniture could use an upgrade. There is a microwave oven and fridge in the room.

Just spent the night there for my brothers wedding, we rented 2 rooms, they were fully booked when we tried to rent a 3rd room but they offered us a cabin with no heat and no washroom and that was fine, however at midnight after drinking and partying all night in the pub for the wedding when we went out to the “cabin” it was actually a shed, with no insulation, and NO POWER AT ALL… they charged us 200 dollars to sleep in a friggin shed!
Food was good, bed was comfortable. Don’t stay in the Cabin. 😅😭

Stopped in for Lunch on the NEW patio, It is amazing what the owners have done to rejuvenate this historic lodge.
Ordered the Beef dip and Onion rings, both were delicious and ample servings. Serving staff was fantastic and came by to check on us several times even though we were off in the furthest most corner of the Patio and it was a busy saturday. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you already haven't.

An absolute gem of a find. If you want to be treated like a member of the family, this place is it! Casey and the Oakley's crew are genuinely invested in making your stay and pub night the best it can be. I especially love that our dog is welcome and was also greeted with kindness. The beach is perfect for fishing, kayaking, and taking in the sunset. This was our second time visiting. Our room was newly renovated on the ground floor with patio doors that offered beach front views and what looked like brand new A/C installed (we didn't need it, but was nice to know it was there). I hesitated to write a review about Stoco Lake Lodge because it's one of those places you want to hold close, but Casey and team deserve the recognition. Thank you Stoco Lake Lodge for another amazing stay - we have fond memories with our pups because of you.
