HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was desperately searching for a specific Roman faucet for my bathtub after my old one broke. Since it was discontinued, I had been looking everywhere for the exact same model. When I found it on Sun City Liquidations & Auction’s website, I was thrilled to see they had three in stock! However, the listing stated “pick-up only,” and since I’m in Quebec while they’re all the way out west, flying there wasn’t exactly an option—though I did consider it for a moment!

Determined to find a solution, I reached out to the Kelowna store to ask if they could ship it to me. To my surprise, I received a response the very same day from Steve, who assured me they could make it happen. He quickly provided me with a quote, and the entire process from there was seamless.

The service was outstanding, the transaction was smooth, and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Steve, and the Sun City Liquidations & Auction team for going the extra mile to help me out!

Everything is of very good quality, practically new. I bought a paddle board and other things for the summer. Everything is new and in good condition. Highly recommended. I will definitely return.đŸ«ĄđŸ’ŻđŸ˜Ž

Had a horrible experience with the owner today. My friend and I walked in the store to take a look and noticed a sign that basically said checking the items were the customer’s responsibility to ensure items are not broken and that all items are final sale; with this in mind I made sure to check the items I was interested in before buying them so I was not given a faulty item. As I was doing so, the owner came and told me to ask the employees before opening a product. I complied and asked the employees to open products for me and I made a comment about needing to check the items and some of them seem used or returned. Once I said this the owner came in with an attitude saying I need to respect his store and not open items. I told him his sign tells customers to check items before purchasing and it’s not like I was opening every item to “play” with it.
After that interaction I asked him if I could see an item that was behind the counter and he said “no you can’t see it”, at first I laughed it off thinking it must’ve been a joke. Then he said “actually I think you should get out of my store and stop with the smart a*s replies”. I’ve never seen such unprofessional customer service. I asked him if he could explain to me what his sign meant and he said “goodbye” “leave my store” I told him to shut up and that he had horrible customer service. Very nice variety of products though. I’ve been here before and had a phenomenal interaction with one of the past employees. It’s not the business that’s a problem, but the owner

EDIT: The individual is not there anymore. And I have changed my 1-star to a 5-star. Very fun store!

I have little to no opinion on quality of merchandise but I have many praises for their employees & customer service.

As soon as we walked in the store the employees were nice and made small conversation about various items we were interested in. They answered our questions and were very polite and nice.

I had the misfortune of having my phone stolen in store, and the staff were incredibly helpful and determined to get it back for me. They were quick to look through the camera footage and confront the person who had swiped it. They sorted the issue out calmly and methodically.

I only wish I had gotten the working employees names, so I could thank them personally.

I would also like to iterate that the phone being stolen was my fault, and not the fault of the store.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠
I purchased a Wonnie DVD player from Suncity. We were a bit leery of purchasing it, as it is a liquidation store and the box looked ripped and very used. We asked if we cud plug it in and make sure it worked. They did and it showed that it did work, however, the DVD player battery would NOT hold a charge, which of course is a problem that would NOT be able to have been experienced at time of purchase, just by plugging it in. We tried everything and it will only play for 5 minutes at a time and then dies.
EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!!!
We purchased it for camping and in the vehicle for our grand children, so it is of “NO USE” to us. We paid $80 for it. What a HUGE waste of money. I didn’t bother asking for my money back or some sort of restitution, because we didn’t use it until a few months later, for obvious reasons, and plus reading these reviews, quite obviously it would get me no where. I will tell you this though
. I certainly WILL NOT ever purchase anything there again and I wanted to post this review so that others will think twice about purchasing anything there either. Especially items that are on the pricey side or items that you just don’t know will work until trying them out yourself, or that just can’t be tried out at the store before purchasing. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! ⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠

While some of the prices are decent (others are similar to Costco in store), they are not worth the risk.

The interactions and response from the owner after the purchase of a seriously damaged item was awful. Quick back story: I purchased a patio set advertised as brand new premium for $2,800. Once I got it home I noticed there were some supports broken in the underside of the set and then unpacked the box with the ottoman to discover an unusably damaged product (see google photos for what was listed vs what was sold).
Allan's response was to call me a liar saying I did the damage to the items after leaving the store and lay blame on me for not taking responsibility for not inspecting the item more thoroughly before purchase. He came out so strongly that it makes me question if he knew about the damage. While I'll never know that, I know it was a very poor experience that I will share as widely as possible.

Read just a few of the reviews about how rude the owner is and then check his defensive replies to get a very small glimpse as to his attitude.

I am understanding they are a liquidation store and that sales are final, but I was reaching out to see if they had recourse to where they got it from (Costco).

Would not recommend to friends or family, or even an enemy for that matter.

I have never experienced such disgraceful, rude behaviour from any one, much less a business owner.
My partner purchased two items from Sun City, one came out of the box broken and the other was missing a piece. He figured he could fix the broken one but called about the missing piece because he couldn't find anything online and was told they'd look around the store. When he hadn't heard anything about a month later, he called back and spoke to who I'm assuming was the establishment's owner, who rudely told him that they can't look through the entire store but my partner could come look. We went down, the first thing that was said to us as we entered the store was "what does liquidation mean to you?" again in a far more aggressive tone than what was warranted. My partner wasn't looking to get a refund, he was just hoping to be made whole since he was told that was a possibility. He was then incorrectly informed that there weren't any products similar to the one he bought when there was one in the back. The owner said my partner had "taken the wind out of his sails" because he had remained so polite. Honestly, if I had been spoken to in the manner displayed that day, I would've burst into tears.
Profiting off of selling junk while being an enormous jerk is bold.

We have had a great experience with getting appliances, sporting goods, an e-bike here. All the purchases have worked out and we will be back for more savings another day.
