First time ever in store and after looking at all the major stores we found the best looking best size dining set here. Great price, very good customer service. Every step they called and let us know what was happening. Delivery came at the right time. No issues with product. Just a teeny tiny mark on some area of the chair but very satisfied with the purchase. Looks amazing. Thanks John. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Manager Shanna was extremely rude and dismissive and condescending when we had issues with our credit card. Over the phone, customer service operators were also rude and dismissive about approving sale discounts that we found online.

In store we found the sales people nice and helpful and we really like our furniture. We also think we got decent prices on the items we purchased. Unfortunately one bed didn't arrive with our delivery and we were informed that it's on back order for at least a month longer. Nobody had informed us of that until delivery day.

Tepperman's advertises that their delivery guys set up your furniture and take away the boxes. They do, sort of, but they also rush through it, leaving a mess and attached the legs off center on our table so it doesn't sit flat as well as neglecting to attach the centre supports for the dressers and night stands. We can fix that but it was disappointing.

I came into the store about a month or more ago to look at a larger cuddle chair. I want to purchase two so I went to the back and I was met by an older lady with short hair, and she was very rude from the start very short and dismissive with her answers And it took her forever to help me, but I waited anyways placed the order, booked my delivery date and waited for about two weeks- which is fine. I finally got my delivery and they brought two ends of a sectional instead of an actual chair. They would not answer my call so I had to go back into the store. Talk to the same lady at the back of the store. Which she was no help after waiting for 20 minutes to talk to her. She end up getting a sales rep who was ensuring me that she would help me that she would place the order so I said OK and left. She had told me that she would be in contact with me within the next two days - never heard anything I tried to call again. Never got to talk to anybody. So I ended up going into the store again and explained to her what was going on and by what she told me, she forgot to contact the main office and place my original order so she said she would email me by the end of the day once the order was confirmed which she finally did. At this point it had been two weeks since I first walked into the store and I still had the wrong thing that I ordered. Fast-forward to 3 and a half weeks later I finally get to set up a delivery date. They confirm with me the night before that It will be there 430 to 630 and that I can track it so I came home early from work made sure I was here tried to track it earlier in the day. It wouldn’t work, tried to track it later in the day. It wouldn’t work. I called customer service and they told me that The trackers down or the driver ain’t updating it. she’s not sure what’s wrong. Whoever I talked to you was also very snarky and rude saying “there’s nothing I can do about it” I finally wait until 630 and nobody shows up. 15 minutes later Someone calls me and says they’ll be here in 20 minutes. I waited 20 minutes, nobody came again. I called the head office and waited on hold for about 10 minutes when I finally see the truck pull in. This has been a long, horrible process that has been nothing but a headache. The customer service needs HUGE work on all aspects. I will say I bought a dish washer with a seperate sales associate and he was very nice and helpful and he got his part of the job done easy and fast. Will not be returning

Buyer beware! Open item boxes being sold for new!!!
On line service was great and pick up was great. BUT the item we picked up was obviously a return from someone else. Loose bolts in the box. Staples holding the end of the nut and bolt package together. Started to put the chair together and we got as far as the first step just like the people that returned it. The dowels are too small. So now we have to package the chair up and make a trip back for a refund. Don’t think I will buy from them again if they are selling open box items at regular prices.

Based on Tepperman’s reply I don’t think the manufacturer would have opened the items as I have shown in the pictures and placed them in the shipping box. The bolts were loose in the box!

About a week ago, I went into the store and selected a corduroy chaise. At the time, the salesperson there was helpful and took my information, advising me they would contact me when it went on sale as the item was currently on back order.

Today, I went back in to inquire about alternative colour options and potentially purchasing a floor model. I had a very different experience. There was nobody in the store, and yet when we walked in, nobody glanced up at us despite 3 employees socializing around the front desk. I had to eventually awkwardly interject their conversation to receive any assistance. The woman with glasses avoided eye contact, made us extremely uncomfortable, and answered my questions with one-word responses. It seemed to be an imposition for her to look up my previous inquiry on the computer. She essentially presented me with an ultimatum of "so are you going to go for it?" Absolutely NOT after the experience I had today. In fact, I will never be ordering from this store.

I genuinely feel as though we were not taken seriously as young people dressed in casual attire. But - as other reviewers have stated - I don’t need to flaunt my wealth to receive proper customer service. If you make presumptions based on someone's appearance, you lose out on potential sales and returning customers. We left feeling unwelcome, uncomfortable, and unnerved by the "service" (a term I will use loosely here) at this store.

Let me make this clear - avoiding potential clients, dismissing their questions, and upholding a judgmental approach is not conducive to a positive retail experience. We all have bad days at work, but I would encourage the sales team to take some time to engage in self-reflection and consider how their actions negatively impact the company's reputation.

This point has been reiterated in several 1-star reviews, but I feel as though my points are valid since they went as far as to text me a link asking about my experience in the store today (a service I would now like to opt out of, for obvious reasons). Clearly this has not been addressed by management. I would strongly encourage this location to do more than replying to Google reviews.

Melissa helped us with our purchases today. She was knowledgeable, listened to what we were looking for and made it a fun experience. This is the second time we have had great service at this store in Ancaster. Would highly recommend. Quality products at realistic pricing. Lots of Canadian made options as well.

We bought a couch from here. We loved it at first but the quality is very poor and we have had to replace the cushion foam already. Within 3 months the new foam is already sinking in again
making the couch extremely uncomfortable and unsupportive. Customer service at first told us “this is how the couch is supposed to be”. I didn’t realize having sunk in cushions is the new trend. Save your money and go somewhere else.
