Accueil très agréable, nous avons passer un super moment avec le propriétaire qui a pris le temps de nous expliquer l'origine de sa boutique et de certains de ces objets.

Lots of old/vintage items. If you are looking for that era of items, this place has many to choose from. The barn is full and lots more stored outside.
Overall, it was a nice visit.

Slightly over priced.
You can find so many nice unique pieces if the price is not an issue

Took the scenic route to go home for winter break and I saw the Antique Barn on the way. I love how ascetically cool, unique and vintage it looks. It’s definitely a place to stop at along your drive since you typically never see something like this. It’s also a cool spot to take photos too!

What a cool antique store!!! Just look at the pictures. Amazing. Owner was very nice and friendly. They took cash and also money order (though I'm not sure if that's an always thing- his wife was taking care of that, and she us not always there, so I'd bring cash just in case). Prices are super reasonable compared to antiques from big cities.

Clearly this place is enchanted. I mean sure it has lots of neat yet typical trinkets and bobbles, historical and whimsical items like many other antique barns, but look closer and you will come to know it's enchanted. Why do I think it's enchanted? Well, many the items displayed outside that are not protected to the weather look remarkably new and shiny for their age. There is almost a complete lack of dust, or iron stains on the wood from the rusted objects that are displayed. This place is just feet from the highway, yet there is little to no road dust on anything. Same can be said for the objects inside. The barn doors are open all day long every day of the week... where is the dust? Some one suggested to me that the owners must dust. Sure, I agree, but their dusting regime probably involves more 'swish and flick!' than it does dusters and elbow grease.

Now, that aside, let's talk other things less to do with enchantments and more about the actual establishment. The well organized place is both overwhelming and dreamy. For me, it felt like being in ever single home I had ever set foot in all at the exact same time. It is a physical time capsule.

If you have a dog don't bring it in. Don't even ask. This is NOT the place for pets. If you are with young children or people that are clumsy or less able bodied, help them through the place. The footings can be uneven and pair that with the fact your eyes might be darting everywhere, it would only take the slightest slip from even a very able bodied person to knock down a half century of items that have been piled like a leaning tower of Piza.

If you are looking for a good deal or cheap finds, go to Giant Tiger or a yard sale. This is not a large corporation, this is a Mom & Pop shop. They do not owe you a 'good deal'. I suspect they could care less if they sell you anything.

There was a little trinket that I had wanted to purchase as a keepsake of this magical place, but when we went to find the shopkeep he had vanished. We will stop in again next time we pass to purchase it and enjoy a few moments more in this enchanted place.
