Wonderful bookstore. So bright and clean and organized. Wonderful atmosphere having it in a barn. Many stools placed around to sit on while you browse. The farm setting is awesome with all the gardens, flowers and fields. I highly recommend!

Bookworm heaven. I am in love with this place. I spent around 2 hrs perusing the aisles of the arts/literature/as is section because of the huge selection of as is books that are over 100yrs old. The atmosphere is wonderful. The surrounding landscape was breathtaking for a Fall visit. Definitely will be making annual or semiannual trips there!

I spent over two hours in this fascinating used book store, housed in a beautiful old barn. The selection was amazing, and it was perfectly organized and neat. All interests and prices. I came away with a half dozen books, but could have bought many more! The owner was so personable and friendly. I’ve never been in a better used book store, ever. Well worth a long drive.

Easily my favourite store ever. I am a great lover of books in general (I actually tend to like books more than people), but older and used books are like crack to me. I can’t get enough! Going to the book barn has become a yearly tradition for me and my mom on my birthday, the first photo from this year and the second from last year. The prices are amazing (I got all of the books in both pictures for a total of 50 bucks per visit), and it’s so well organized it makes chapters look like a bunch of chumps. Not only that but the owners are incredibly kind and friendly; both times I’ve gone we’ve had great conversation and they’ve been very attentive to both my mother and myself. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a fun adventure, I highly suggest making the drive. It’s well worth the gas spent to get there.

I don't pass through this area often, but when I do it's one of my "Must Stops" along the route. I love the rustic feel and the smell of the old books. Very clean and everything is kept in good condition. The owner is fantastic, great to chat with, has good recommendations and of course knows where everything you're looking for is. Check out the new Nobel Prize winning author, Alice Munroe display!

The Book Barn On 86 is an amazing place to go if you have an hour or two to spare. There are hundreds of books to peruse, all with amazingly affordable prices. I've been here twice now and I feel like every time there are more books.

My family loves everything about this place! We make it a stop every time we're in the area. An eclectic selection, with many of the old stand-bys one would expect from any used book store - except this one levels up the atmosphere! The curator is always friendly and knowledgeable about where one might find something in the vast expanse of the barn. We hope to visit many times more!

I love coming here to browse the shelves. Turning a barn into a bookstore is such a unique idea. We took relatives visiting from B.C. for a visit and they thought it was amazing. I've purchased several books from here and all are in excellent conditions. A fantastic used bookstore!
