This is one of the best, locally owned toy shops I've been to! Their toys are always divided into intuitive and logical sections. They have competitive prices on lots of items, and their knowledge of the products is excellent. Well done!

My 14-year-old son visited the red balloon today with a few friends and no adults. He came home talking about how respectful, helpful, and kind the guy at the till was. I know sometimes teens get a bad rap but I appreciate that you gave these kids a chance. Your faith in them inspires them to keep trying to be good humans and it made loyal customers out of him, his friends, and me. Thank you!

Walked in for the first time this summer with my 2 year old , she was trying out a toy piano (not smashing it or anything just playing it) and the store owner came around the corner and chastised her for it and gave me a dirty look ! Sorry thought this was a toy store for kids ? First don’t talk to my child and make her uncomfortable for exploring . 2nd if you don’t like kids why own a toy store ? Wanted to shop here for Christmas but both my husband and I can’t get over how uncomfortable the owner made us feel and will be taking our business elsewhere . Do better .

This is, hands down, the best toy store in town. This is the toy store I went to as a kid, and now I take my own children there.

The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and there to "be" a toy store - they know their customers are kids and families.

Lovely folks, great selection, lots of options.

I was able to phone in and inquire if they had the board-game I was interested in. They had it in stock plus additional cards. They put it aside and we were able to pick it up on our travels through to Victoria. We could not find the game anywhere else or no one was able to help inform us if they had the game at other stores. Plus it’s in a great location for wandering around for other items you didn’t know you needed.
