Stayed at the hotel for a month and never had any problem with anything. Its location is just perfect as it is near grocery store, local restaurants, and hospital. Staff are incredible and helpful especially Allie. They always make sure that room is always clean plus you can cook in the hotel's kitchen too. Highly recommended!

Had to come out for work, pulled into town to every hotel being booked solid, they called me back after hours and came in to get us a room. Stay was great, quiet rooms, clean, and fresh towels and beds were made daily befor we got back from work. Rates were great. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

Very solid hotel. Rooms were modern and comfortable. Unconventional in the sense that it's zero contact, no front desk and card lock key system, but when we experienced a minor problem with the room, the staff was there promptly to address it. A Front desk can't always do the same level of service. Hey owners, pay attention, the staff was cool and attentive. Thanks! Downside was the prices were stupid, but I imagine it's partially because the local market conditions

A really cute spot in a convenient location! The room was spotless with updated fixtures and nice bedding. ||The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is not someone at the desk 24/7 but the key retrieval instructions were easy to follow. When we had an issue with the door lock, our call was returned quickly and staff showed up promptly to resolve the issue. ||The hotel didn’t serve breakfast but there was a room with a counter and a kitchen space behind it, so maybe they do serve it sometimes. ||A great experience overall and I’d absolutely recommend to others.

My room smelled like urine. No microwaves and couldn’t use air fryer in room. Should remove the carpet in whole building stains everywhere. Just didn’t enjoy my stay at all. Felt like I couldn’t get a good rest. Hotel staff were okay. Needs renovations asap and microwaves.

We were greeted by a very friendly girl at the front desk. She was helpful with any of our questions. The hotel was very clean and quiet room. We enjoyed the tea and banana bread offered in the evening. It was nice to sit out in the sitting nook area to chat with your family or with the other guests. The breakfast had a nice selection. It was also nice that you had the option of taking something for the road if you were not staying to eat at the time as they supplied brown lunch bags. The next time we stay we hope to have more time to use the bikes that they have to explore the town. Very nice option. We hope to stay again next summer.

The Sleepy Owl was our home away from home for our weekend in Fort Frances while visiting with family. The staff was fantastic and accommodating. The rooms were air conditioned, clean and comfortable. Spotless bathroom (no grunge in the corners of the tile like you often see in hotels of all star categories!). ||||There was lots of parking, and while we didn't travel with a boat or trailer, others did and there was plenty of space. They even had two bicycles guests could use!||The complimentary breakfast had something for everyone in my family. ||We appreciated it's great downtown location, and being within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and even the bridge to International Falls, MN.||||We would certainly return to this hotel when we come back to visit family in Fort Frances. Thank you for your hospitality!

Nice courteous staff accommodated late check in on short notice. Thank you Wade for waiting till I arrived after a long drive.

Rooms and washroom were nice and clean, decent small cozy room. The refrigerator could have used a cleaning though or maybe some baking soda. I noticed a pungent smell as soon as I opened the freezer and refrigerator door.
Good thing I carry Lysol with me lol, cleaned it before keeping my food.

Overall decent experience and thank you again for waiting up.
