The Village Grocery Store is a lovely place to shop for fresh fruits, beautiful flowers, and high-quality meats from their excellent butcher shops. The quality of their products is top-notch, making it my go-to spot for groceries.

On top of that, they have a cozy coffee shop perfect for breakfast or lunch. The seating area is spacious and comfortable, both inside and on the charming patio. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal or coffee while relaxing. Highly recommend this store for both shopping and dining!

Today, I want to share with you a great farmer's market - Village Grocer! This is a new treasure market I discovered recently. The goods in it are not only diverse, but also of super good quality.

Farmer's cake roll: the cream inside is fragrant but not greasy, and the taste is particularly smooth. The cake roll is soft and delicate, and you can feel the strong milk fragrance in every bite. It is simply a great choice for afternoon tea.

Peach crisp: A bite reminds me of the taste of China. Crispy taste, melts in the mouth, with a faint sweetness, which is very suitable as a snack or breakfast with coffee. Every time I go, I can't help but buy a few more bags to take home.

Raw toast: Village Grocer has a wide variety of bread, and there is also a very popular raw toast recently! The taste of raw toast is particularly soft and delicate, and there is no dry feeling of ordinary toast at all. It is very delicious to eat directly or made into a sandwich.

Whole milk: The taste of milk is particularly heavy and very pure. Every time I use it to make breakfast milkshakes or coffee, it is very good. The strong milk fragrance is irresistible.

Persimmon ice cream: The taste of persimmon is particularly strong, but it is not sweet at all, and the taste is very refreshing. As a dessert to relieve the summer heat, it is simply a great choice.

Flowers: Not only are there a wide variety, but you can also DIY bouquets according to your preferences. Whether it is used to decorate the home or as a gift, it is a very good choice. The waiter will also provide thoughtful advice according to your needs.

Had a nice lunch in Unionville, heard so much about The Village Grocer jelly rolls and since I was in the neighborhood decided to finally pull the trigger. The Village Grocer is like a miniature Lawrence Market with their own and other high quality food products.

Cookies, tarts, cakes, pies oh my, hawk tuah I was lazer focused on their jelly rolls. (warning, I'm not talking about the country rap singer)

Their regular size jelly rolls are large enough to choke a horse so I decided to get their half size roll which is still large enough to choke a pony.

Slightly sweet whipped cream goodness filled with fresh firm grapes/strawberries (a little too tart) fruit in moist soft cake, unlike other jelly roll wannabes where they skimp on the whipped cream. This one is a perfect ratio of heavenly goodness.

I will now solemnly promise that no other jelly roll will pass through my lips unless it's from the Village Grocer, amen

Overall the ice cream and the jelly rolls were delicious. However, the food in the cafe area were so overpriced compared to their portion. I got a meal for 13.99 plus tax and what the staff served us won’t even be enough for my 12 year old sister. We weren’t in the mood for any sort of debate with the staff but it was definitely NOT worth the price.

Village Grocer might easily become my favourite neighbourhood grocery store after my first visit. Went back a few occasions during the festive season in Nov/Dec 2023 and it never failed to amaze me every time I stepped into this store. Love the wide variety of products that are on offer and beautifully displayed. It's not only a fresh grocery store but also provide ready made gourmet goodies one can hardly resist. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff on top of high quality produce and merchandise that attracts customers to go back times and times again.
