We stopped here for gas and got first-rate service. Not only did they have attendants that pumped our gas and cleaned our windshields, (I can't remember the last time I had full-service at a gas station), but the person working the cashier was fun to talk to as we purchased what turned out to be delicious apple fritters, butter tarts, and lemon tarts.

Popular tourist stop along 17N around Batchawana Bay, very close to the provincial park beach and about 10 mins from Chippewa Falls. They have a gift shop, restaurant, gas/liquor/convenience store, ice cream, and a “fry house” for their famous monkey bread style apple fritters. The fritters are fresh and hot all day! About 40 mins outside of Sault Ste. Marie and worth the stop!

Very disappointed in the "new" apple fritters. They are now one big round lump, not even fritters at all- just a huge thick donut with 1 or 2 tiny pieces of apple on them. Ill not be buying them again sadly, they were so good before they changed them. We have friends down the street who confirmed what we had thought, the fritter style changed. If you love the classic bumpy apple fritter, these arent them anymore 🙁

We needed gas so we stopped in. When I tell you I’ve never been more impressed with a gas station/rest stop, I know that sounds funny.

Every single staff member was a delight! We were pleasantly surprised by the full service attendant. The shop had everything we needed, including wine.

They also are not lying when they say they have the best apple fritters!!! I can’t remember the last time I had a donut so delightful.

It was a great way to refuel the soul as well as the tank.

What a packed little place, full of delicious foods and clothes, camping equipment, gas.
Best Apple fritters ever ! They weigh a ton
Great sandwiches. We’re so lucky they were close to Pankake Bay PP. we went 3 times ! Loved it !

Stopped in because of the apple fritter sign. It is accurate, they were hot delicious, and HUGE! So good! Everyone there was so friendly also! ?

John and I stopped here to get his apple fritter which we were introduced to in May of this year! He wanted to make sure that we stopped here again lol! The owner remembered John while he was pumping fuel, I’m sure he gets thousands of customers

Moral of the story stop and get an apple fritter you will not be disappointed and the owners are fantastic

Oh my gosh, the fritters are DREAMY!!! Huge and delicious. Chewy inside and crispy caramelized outside. We stopped at 8:30am and they hot and fresh For gas, got full service and a window wash! Everyone working was super warm and friendly.
