I’ve been to Tommy Guns Vernon many times, and my first visit was great. The haircuts after that were decent, but today was an absolute disaster. I asked for a simple 1 to 2 fade on the sides, with the top just blended in and left mostly untouched since I liked the length. Instead, I got a horrendous 1-length cut all the way up to the top, with zero blending. It ended up looking like a mohawk with a harsh line that went from super short to long. No fade or blending at all, and it just looked awful, so I threw on a hat and left in frustration. Hoping I could still style it and make it look okay…nope!

When I got home, my wife noticed my hairline was crooked, and she had to fix it with clippers. There are also spots where the hair is longer than others. I was hoping for a quick, professional trim before a business meeting, but now I look ridiculous. I now either need to get a buzz cut or wear a hat for the next 2 months until it grows back. If you stick to one stylist like Gelo or Ace, you might be okay, but this place definitely let me down today. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Reference what my hair normally looks like in my headshot.

Donna was awesome with my 2 year old son. She was so sweet talking to him, and could tell right away when he got uncomfortable/upset with the hairdryer. She stopped and reassured him immediately and then used a towel to dry his hair instead. She was so attentive to him and she had such a nice positive energy about her. I was really impressed. Also, the young man working at the front desk was super nice and helpful. For our first time there I was thoroughly impressed. We will definitely be coming back to Tommy Guns.

"I recently had a haircut at Tommy Guns in Vernon, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! Even though I live far away, I made the drive specifically because Ace understands the fade haircut I love. It's rare to find a stylist who gets it just right, and Ace certainly did!

One thing that stood out to me during my visit was the incredible banter and connection between the hairstylists and their clients. The entire place was bustling with energy, and it was clear to my left that one barber was engaging in a lively conversation about summer jobs with a college student. Another barber was chatting about work with his client, and it was heartwarming to see the genuine interactions. I could sense that many clients were regulars, which is a testament to the strong relationships the barbers have created.

Beyond the fantastic haircut, the overall environment at Tommy Guns is impressive. The place is always clean, including the washrooms, which speaks volumes about their commitment to hygiene. I pay attention to how hairstylists behave when it comes to hygiene and sanitizing, and I was pleased to see that the staff at Tommy Guns take these procedures seriously.

Went in for what I thought would be a simple haircut and beard trim for a wedding i am attending this weekend. Was taken into the back by a lady who looked like she hated her job, so that should have been a warning sign right there. I showed her a picture of me with short sides and slightly longer top that was clearly styled to the side. I told her I wanted #1 on the sides but to make it an inch long on the top, which I said would be longer than what was in the picture. She pulled out her trimmer and I thought she was going to start on the sides but buzzed straight down the middle, cutting a strip of hair to about a centimeter long and then asked if that was a good length. Absolutely butchered the haircut I asked for considering I've used this exact picture and description probably about 20 times and never once had it messed up this bad. Ended up trimming my own beard because I no longer had faith that this lady could understand what I was talking about. At least the manager was understanding and didnt charge me for the lady giving me a buzz cut, although I could have also butchered my own hair for free. Now I get to attend a wedding looking like a full on skinhead. Thanks

Heart did an absolutely amazing job with my facial—so relaxing and refreshing. She truly has a gift for making her clients feel pampered and cared for. Such a gem! Highly recommended.

Usually a good place for a simple hair cut but today had a really rude experience with one of the stylists that goes by the name of heart. Probably never going to visit this place just because of the experience. So so rude and blamed my hair for pricking my neck with the trimmer and said nothings wrong with her trimmer instead of a simple sorry later said calm down bro when I was trying to explain how I want my hair cut. Kindness goes along long way! Be KIND!! If your having a bad day don’t pass it on to another person and make their day bad too

Have always loved this shop. Been going for the past 2 years. The ladies that work here are amazing.. however today I did not have a good experience with one of the male barbers and may never return. Asked for a simple beard line up. No razor required. Simply line up the sides, cheek bones, and moustache. I was left with hair all over my face and neck and in my ears. Both cheek bones do not line up and moustache was left long on the ends and cut way too skinny in the front middle. Will be shaving my face and trying to grow it all out for another 4 months. Thanks a lot.

I have been trying to book an appointment because the online system is'nt working, but after calling three times around 9am-well within posted hours, I couldn't get anyone to answer. I even checked their opening time, which is listed as 8am. It's really disappointing , since I genuinely like the barbers and the quality of their haricuts. Unfortunately, it seems like there's an issue with front desk communication or the reception process, which takes away from an otherwise great service.
