Got on the ferry to Sechelt today to go to Home hardware to pick up and exterior door that I couldn't find anywhere in Powell River. Picked up my door and my 66 year old husband had to carry it himself to the car... while we where trying to figure out what hardware we needed for this door 2 employees chatted amongst themselves and them one of them left and the other took up a conversation with a women about liver.... we stood there for some time and then eventually the woman who was obviously not dressed like an employee told the employee maybe he should help us... I told him not to bother, we will order our stuff on line some where else... to be dismissed like that when you are a paying customer that travelled and paid fees to cross the ferry, it truly is shameful, they will not get our business again. I sure that the lack of our patronage won't even faze them... but it left a lasting impression on us.
