Great place to stay, the Owner/Manager David has been very helpful at helping us settle in to Northern Canada. Great restaurant on site, and rooms are clean and well kept. It is the people here that make the experience the best…everyone has been friendly and we would recommend staying anytime. We will make this our home while in Rankin Inlet. Great hotel to stay at if you are travelling through as well.

David the Manager is so friendly and helpful! Holly also was extremely kind to us and helpful. She picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and when we needed to grab something for our luggage, she helped us in the nick of time! I have traveled to quite a few places in the north and they stand out as one of the most friendly and hospitable folks. Would recommend!!

The accommodations are also comfortable and clean and conveniently located next to the co-op store.

My wife and I stayed 1 night, walking 900m E from the airport, checking in before 7PM. The manager processed my payment while I signed an entry form, then provided the key with wifi code. We walked down the corridor to our Executive Queen. |Room #118 was clean, spacious with vinyl/carpet with a comfortable queen, table and chair, closet bar, medium refrigerator, micro, Kurig and opening window view to the town lake. The fully outfitted bathroom had a shower stall with quick hot water and large towels. The large TV had a room satellite guide with 44 channels, many unsubscribed but were able to see CBC, CNN, CTV, Global, USA networks with PBS & a few more channels. |Good 5G secure wifi, ample outlets, good lighting, baseboard heating, along with a quiet night’s sleep.

I felt so comfortable at Turaarvik. The room is really a studio, with full cooking facilities and a good sized bathroom. The shower is very easy to work, unlike other negative experiences I've had. The café/restaurant has a great menu and would accommodate a request, for example, no fries, for which a deduction was made on the bill. David, the hotel manager and chef, along with the other kitchen staff, cleaners and Patrick, the shuttle driver, work hard to ensure one's stay is a positive experience.|The Co-op supermarket in the same block is so handy and staff are friendly and helpful.|Being an older solo female traveller, I felt safe and warm.

This was my first work trip to Rankin Inlet. . Mr. David Band (the hotel manager) fascinated us by being at the airport, discovering our flight was delayed, and picking us up. Even though it was too late, he remained respectful and smiled. As soon as I entered my hotel room,I found it to be quite comfortable and clean, and I slept very well there. I went to the hotel restaurant several times and enjoyed every dish I had. Very fresh and delicious. The personnel were really respectful, kind, and resourceful. I promised myself that the next time I would come with my family.

The hotel is comfortable, clean and the service is impeccable. David, the manager is more than accommodating and will do his very best to get you what you want and need. The room I usually get has a small kitchen and allows me to do a little cooking in my room but the food in the restaurant is very good. Added advantage is the hotel is attached to the Co-op Market so you can slip into the supermarket to buy whatever you need without going out into the cold. I highly recommend staying and meeting David. He is a great guy!

I truly don't think I've ever had such a great experience at a hotel in my life. David and his staff were incredible, going above and beyond to accommodate and anticipate. I was in Rankin for a week with a colleague and we had booked well in advance. I booked a room with a kitchenette for my colleague and was satisfied with my lack of room. My room still came with a small fridge, microwave and a couch to sit on! I didn't feel like I missed out at all. The staff were kind, earnest, and clearly worked well under David's leadership. The hotel is attached to (and operated by) the Co-op. You can grab what you need for dinner safely and warmly. 10/10 for David, a stunning individual who works hard for his staff, and clientèle.

I have stayed at many hotels over the years and Turaarvik Inns is easily one of the very best. David, the manager, is very friendly and hospitable and his staff are kind and efficient. Large, comfortable and clean room. Restaurant with great food. Hotel is attached to COOP so you can easily grab groceries. Highly recommended. I’ll be back on my next visit to Rankin.
