Ordered here for the first time. I'm so happy to have genuine Indian food available locally!
Rice, fish and samosas are on point. Lots of meat in the butter chicken. Recall that it is all about the sauce!
100% a do again. I'm so happy you opened up shop!!

UPDATE: We've ordered a few times since this original review, most recently on May 20th. They have never disappointed. Our guests loved it too and given some have spent some time working in the MENA region, they set the bar high. I highly recommend this local resto!!

I am so thrilled about this new local family run Indian joint, right in town. The menu is varied and offers a great selection of meat and vegetarian dishes - great butter chicken (especially if you like a sweet, tangy, creamy sauce), authentic garlic naan (with real fresh garlic, not the dried powder), perfectly cooked rice and great samosas. The portions are healthy and the price is good. Welcome Tweed Desi!

The staff were very friendly, the food was very very tasty. We had the chicken marsala and it shows a 1 pepper, it's VERY hot. Be sure to ask for something to help tame the heat if you're not used to spicy.

We have been trying to eat here. Finally I had chicken methi delicious boquet of flavours and spices.
My husband had beef Curry which he really enjoyed.
We shared samosas which were also excellent.
Worth the drive to Tweed.
We will be back to try different dishes.

So happy to have a great Indian Restaurant in Tweed. My friend and I ate in the restaurant for dinner. The best rice I have ever eaten. The chicken curry was delicious. The chicken portion was generous and tender. The sauce was perfectly spiced and was really yummy with the buttered Naan. I will definitely go back.

This restaurant was a real find. There is very little in the way of interesting food in Tweed. We did not know what to expect from an Indian restaurant in such a small town but we were very pleasantly surprised. The chef (and server) clearly took great care in preparing our meal. The food was delicious but did not fall into the overfamiliar flavourings of most standard cookie cutter Indian restaurants. The curry we had had a freshness to it that was very lovely. The chef clearly cares about cooking and this was obvious in even the smallest touches.

We have been eating at this restaurant since they opened. What a nice surprise to find when we came up for our summer vacation! The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious. Much care is taken in the preparation and authenticity of all the food. The appetizers are especially fun to try. We try two new ones each time! Truly the best food and restaurant in Tweed!

1.Raita and rasmalia portion are too small
2. Naans have some oily after taste coming and it’s look like they have used frozen naan and then they have just toasted them and naans are too small
3. Paneer makhani was ok
Overall don’t like the food
Sorry to say but it’s the truth guys you have to make some changes seriously
