Love the Dutch auction every year! Feels like Christmas, and the quality of their trees and shrubs are excellent. Everything from last year has thrived and am excited to get the next round into the ground. Thanks for being a great spot with great selection. Your shade grass seed blend has also been successful for us!

A really massive place with anything you want dedicated to plants. Similar places in the UK or USA are so much more expensive and made a mental note to come back here and get plants that even at the local Walmart are way more expensive. We found it only because the friendly ladies at Elberta advised us to come here for catnip plants for our just adopted 10 years old cat, after her long hard life of procreating being given away by the breeder and found 2 plants to buy to see how our 'kitty' will react. I noticed they have all kind of good offers on plants, soil etc so most surely we will be back here.

They have great plants and great employees. We waited a bit too long to get there for what we usually get but that's on us. Still had a good selection of plants, especially sun loving. Didn't look at the perennials but our plants from the last few years are doing well.

Wonderful place with lots and lots and lots of selection. Competitive pricing and service that is available and really helpful. Convenient parking and the plants we bought seem to be of good quality. Bathroom available. CLean and love the recycling of used plant containers,---very green!! Would go back for more and in future years. Blessed by being there.

I always preffered and shopped from Walters. After todays incident i might think 10x before stepping into Walters again. I am from Burlington and always drove till Walters to get my plants. Recently i purchased one of the DA rose which had one leaf set yellow which i ignored as i wanted that particular rose and i own more than 35 rose in my backyard so i thought little bit of TLC( Only prunning Not feeding) it will be fine but as the days passed half of the leaves turned yellow( walters give you a warranty till Sept 30 but they didnt mentioned that it will be honoured only if the plant has died and it also dont mention that plant has to be immediately planted in Ground) So i rushed today to walters with plant as i was not able to understand what was the reason behind yellowing of the leaves as all my other roses ( Both container and inground) was doing fine. When i went to cash register cashier said - We can only offer you store credit i said ok as i wanted to get few other DA roses. But then she paged some one to come and help with reimbursement/voucher process.That some one was kinda snarky as her facial expression and the tone itself was screaming we wont be entertaining such request and asked me have i watered it or not ( i watered yesterday evening ) she lifted the pot and said it needs to be watered I clearly said i watered yesterday i mentioned and showed the warranty sheet saying the validity till Sept 30th i didnt pressurised as i was quite shocked by their behaviour and handling of the customer. Then that someone called another lady..she came rushing and almost scolding that if we give another plant it will also turn yellow and zoomed out with my plant and after few minutes she came out with soaked plant and gave it to me and said it has to be in ground and if it dies or have some other problem please email for next steps.. Woah i am very calm person and dont really talk back or argue but this whole incident had kinda shook me. Whoever is managing walters.please note that whoever shops from walters are plant lovers wont bring there beloved plant to return. i bought lots of DA roses in clearance last year from walter with rust and black spot issues i took care of them they are doing so well this year attaching pic of my roses

Buyer Beware
I recently purchased two Hellebore plants costing me $32.99 each. Something which I considered an expensive purchase but they were lovely, which is what enticed me to buy them. I have always admired this plant and wanted them in my garden.
I was warned by the cashier that it was still too cold to plant them outdoors even thou they are a perennial and one of the first plants to bloom in the early spring.
The day after having got them home, I noticed that one of them was drooping significantly. I checked the soil and it was a little dry so I watered it. It perked up a bit but then the leaves started to dry out. I kept an eye on it but it just looked worse every day. I didn't want to over water but it looked terrible.
Today I thought I'd trim the dead leaves from the plant, thinking that might help and to my horror the underside of the leaves were covered in aphids. I also checked the second plant that looked ok up till now and it too had aphids.
I am from our of town and not able to return the plants quickly. I am so disappointed in that I spent alot of money on these two plants assuming that they would have been good stock and not infested.
I love gardening and have never seen this kind of infestation on any plants purchased from a nursery.
Needly to say, on my next trip through there, I won't be purchasing again from Walter's and suggest that anyone who does should check their stock over carefully before buying.

Always the most knowledgeable, helpful staff around with an amazing selection. I noticed this year they've marked plants which are grown in Canada. Well done Walters!
