We have owned labs for over thirty years, and lived in a number of provinces and communities. As a consequence, we have visited many different vets and clinics. I can say that, unequivocally, the Westlock Vet Clinic has been the very best. All of the staff, from reception to vet techs and of course the vets are personable, competent and professional. It is particularly important to note that they have never suggested excessive or unnecessary procedures or treatments. This alone separates them from several other clinics we worked with. They have absolutely earned our trust and respect. Enthusiastically recommended.

We brought our colt in for his castration yesterday and it was quick and easy. Dr. Susan and the vet techs supporting her were very efficient and professional. They talked through the steps of the procedure and made sure our boy was comfortable. I highly recommend Westlock Vet. Thanks again!

I can’t say enough good things about the team at Westlock Veterinary Center. From the moment I arrived with my mare, the experience was smooth, professional, and above all—reassuring. Dr. Jake, who treated my horse for a mastitis infection, was outstanding. He was calm, confident, and easy to talk to, and I felt immediately that my horse was in capable hands.

What really stood out to me was how quickly they were able to book me in—less than a day’s notice—and how fast she was seen once we arrived. The staff were kind and helpful, and I left there with real peace of mind. My mare is now doing much better thanks to their care.

I don’t give many five-star reviews, but this one is absolutely earned. I’ll be bringing any of my horses back to Dr. Jake without hesitation.
If you need a rat, is this center should be your first call!!

we are so very fortunate to live near Westlock , everyone here has been amazing taking care of our babies/pets and us sadly there have been a few horrible times when we had to let our pet be put to sleep usually from old old age and everyone here went out of their way to make sure that we were as okay as possible and at times like that you need support and hugs.they always always have taken care of our babies with the greatest most patient care and always are so good at helping us out if we have a question.the pets don't mind at all going to see the vet and they are always treated like VIPs ... with lots of treats lol so if you near WESTLOCK and need any pet help drop in they truly are the best and they will make sure your pet and you are well taken care of.

Thank you all so much for being so amazing to our family for all these years , I think it's about 27 years now and easily 20 pets.

Dr Patty is an incredible person, filled with compassion & empathy, she is also an astounding surgeon. Chinny now has his own Westlock Veterinary Designer T-shirt!! Thank you to all the ladies at the clinic, thanks to your consistent excellent care - the best dog I have ever had is STILL alive, just to be clear, Chinny has made many many many visits to see his friends in the back room

Amazing team! Their level of care and attention to our animals has been incredible. We were introduced to Dr. Jackson and this clinic when one of our dogs needed TPLO surgery and from the initial booking to the recovery follow up and her after care...I truly can't express how insanely glorious Dr. Jackson and the whole staff were! We have since moved both dogs files to them, which after 17 years of being loyal to a vet that is only 15 minutes from home (Westlock is roughly an hour)...this wasn't a decision we look lightly. So glad we did!

Drove 2.5 hrs with 3 young horses to this vet because there were no vets in my area that could do a castration, A hernia and a large skin flap removal. It was worth the drive! Was thrilled with Dr. SVEN, he explained everything well, had a great group of helpers and did a great job. Have decided to use them as my main herd health vet clinic. With 11 vets there I'm sure to find one when I need one that can do any job needed.
