My husband and I visited Fort Smith via the winter roads from Foet McMurray. It was a lovely little cabin to stay in. Super easy to locate and it is close to all things local. There weren't any photos online so I thought I'd share some here.
There are towels and basic pots and pans along with lots of bedding. There is also a loft so it could easily fit a small family. If your doing a lot of your own cooking you would want to bring 98% of your own stuff. There was salt and pepper but no oil.
Overall it was lovely and would recommend to anyone!!!!

We stayed here for work, as other accommodations in the area were fully booked, and we were pleasantly surprised. This is an older house that has been thoughtfully renovated into a cozy, Airbnb-style lodging.

The property is well-equipped with a washer, dryer, and a fully functional kitchen stocked with utensils and appliances, making it easy to cook and feel at home. There is a single bathroom featuring both a shower and bathtub—ideal for comfort and convenience.

One of the highlights of this location is its proximity to the river, making it perfect for those who enjoy nature walks and scenic views. It offers a tranquil, homey atmosphere that is great for families or groups.

However, there are a few considerations to keep in mind. If you’re not fond of walking, note that it’s a bit of a trek to reach nearby amenities. Additionally, during the winter months, power outages can occur, so having emergency lights on hand would be helpful, as the property is not equipped with them.

Overall, if you’re visiting Fort Smith, Yellowknife, and looking for a comfortable, home-like place to stay, this is an excellent option.

Ideally located in Fort Smith, walking distance to everything.
The property is very clean and well equipped. There is little you will need to enjoy your stay!
