My husband and I used to avoid going to White Spot for many many years. Service was bad, food was ok but we always had the feeling they were trying to save every single penny giving with everything.

We decided to give it a try and we happily report service had improved big time. This actually had become our go to place for breakfast on the weekends. (I should not share this, otherwise people will start going more 😉) but wait is short, we love the waitresses and hostesses(specially Cassandra and Fernanda). Menu is limited but food is good. They give you little portions of condiments but they can gladly bring you more if you ask for them.

Swing by on a week day non peak dinner. Place was quite empty. Took awhile before someone came and took our order. There was like 3 other staff around chit chatting.

My kids needed their juice refilled and they were waving / saying excuese me to one of the staff at the bar and was promptly ignored. Finally, the original staff who took our order was available and the kids finally got their refills.

Food came out ok. But when we finally got the drinks refilled. My pop was so watered down that there was hardly any gas/taste. Very different from the original fizzy pop thst was provided.

I guess... any fast food joint might give them a run for money.

The food was amazing. Sourdough club sandwich is to die for! Hostess was an absolute sweetheart and our server was on the ball. We are visiting from Saskatchewan and felt very welcome here.

Our food is always great at White Spot. We've eaten dozens of meals over the years and we like the friendly helpful staff.

We went to Whitespot for the first time in about 5 years.
Atmosphere was very welcoming & comforatable, we were greeted & seated very promptly within arrival.
Our server was an absolute gem (can’t recall her name but could definitly pick her out again), very personable, tentative & helpful. She made the interaction worth while & definitly a memoriable moment, Nat would be proud of her 😉
Our food was very well made & presented, amazing tastes but not over powering, great size portions & a for price. The new summer lemonades are delicious too, very refreshing & not overly sweet/sugary tasting.

Really friendly and attentive staff. Even on a busy night. Restaurant was very clean and cozy. Staff even went out of their way to turn on their Christmas display (a toy train) for some curious children. All food was good but the Brussels sprouts appetizer was outstanding!! We were seated, greeted, given drinks menus all very quickly. Food came fast despite a packed house.

Went there with a group of friends for a quick lunch before heading out for the day. Service was terrible, the restaurant was practically empty and there was a lot of staff on. I ordered the turkey avocado wrap which I received without avocado my drink came half an hour after ordering. The food was overall gross. Nobody came to check on us after we had a couple bites so I wasn’t able to explain that my food had been messed up. We finished and tried to get our bills. After explaining how the bills will be separated we waited another 20 minutes for our checks and I could not find any staff.During this time someone had started vacuuming beside us. When we finally got our bills they were sorted wrong and we waited another 10 minutes trying to pay for our meals. Experience was very frustrating and I definitely will not be back

We had a pleasant dinner here, when we visited Duncan over the weekend. The restaurant wasn't busy, and the staff were present to welcome us and get our orders. Menu items are all right, a little pricier than I'd hope but that's just how it is living on the island. The restaurant was dimly lit but it felt relaxing for an evening meal.

My shrimp Alfredo was great, and the table had spices and toppings to use. We left with a good meal, and will definitely recommend stopping here if you're visiting the Duncan area.
