Le Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies à Banff que nous avons visité le 13 septembre 2024 est un lieu idéal pour continuer à découvrir l’histoire, l’art et la culture des Rocheuses canadiennes.
Ce musée m’était conseillé, et je n’ai pas oublié de visiter les archives et la bibliothèque, qui offrent une mine d’informations pour ceux qui s’intéressent à l’histoire des Rocheuses dont des milliers de photos.
Nous avons pu y admirer quelques très beaux tableaux, dans un espace où nous étions seuls au monde à ma très grande surprise.

The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies in Banff, which we visited on September 13, 2024, is an ideal place to continue discovering the history, art and culture of the Canadian Rockies. This museum was recommended to me, and I did not forget to visit the archives and library, which offer a wealth of information for those interested in the history of the Rockies, including thousands of photos. We were able to admire some very beautiful paintings there, in a space where we were alone in the world, to my great surprise.

Assez cher et le musée est petit. Il n'y a pas pas grand chose à voir. Aussi tout est en anglais, aucune traduction en français.

It not too bad for the ticket price for a small museum… the staff at the book store are
pushy and rude but that Banff …
The book store has hiking books, stickers and magnets, cards and so on
